Great price, we got the 50inch version in Jan.
the apps on it are fantastic, speedy and fast, also meaning I don’t need a now tv box, Amazon tv stick etc, so frees up power sockets etc.
Sound and picture is also good. Voted hot.

Best thing about it is you can customise the menu screens, I've picked classic Star Trek

Or better still, from richersounds with a 6 year warranty

The 7500 series are far superior to the 7100 series
Still saying £329 for the 43inch on the website and the Argos app???

It’s got vivid, sports, movie etc, can’t see a game mode on my tv but there is scope to mess with lots of sliding bars of settings..
Is this better than a 7300 series model? Also does it display the Roku elements in 4k (Netflix etc)?

As the Roku Netflix app is certified by Netflix, it's highly unlikely you won't get 4K on this TV. But you have a point, there are tens of 4K TV boxes out there with blazing fast processors and 4GB RAM that do not have the relevant Netflix DRM certifications and you end up watching the Netflix app in piddling SD!!
Does this have Dolby Vision as there are conflicting specs when searching.

No. The Dolby Vision support starts with the B7500.

Hi, the 7500 was showing at £359 but is now £379 with 6 years guarantee. still a fantastic price in my opinion.
Thanks OP. Just picked mine up. I had a unused £50 argos gift voucher, so put it towards it.

Any apps you'd recommend for movies and series?

you cant put your own apps on it
Got the 55 last week and can definitely recommend! The Bessels are pretty thin, but not the thinnest I’ve seen.

only problem is, I can’t play 4K through the built in usb, and the sound bar I have sounds odd from time to time, but I’m sure it’s a setting thing that I need to sort.

mine plays 4K from usb fine. My sound goes all echoey from time to time and I have to turn the TV on & off to get it back to normal. The hisense software is pretty buggy (had to pull the plug 3 times in 3 weeks as the TV completely locks up)

apart from that, what difference is this 'roku' branded TV any different to the normal hisense TVs (VIDAA 3.0 soon to be updated with 4.0)?

This quote from Trusted Reviews probably sums it up:

If you’re looking for an accommodating budget TV, the Hisense B7120 Roku TV ticks most of the boxes. Picture quality is enjoyable (less so with SD), and the sound quality is better than expected.

The lack of dynamic HDR is a demerit considering we’re seeing it on other TVs at this price. Taken as a whole, the Hisense B7120 Roku TV is a satisfying and accessible budget TV.

As far as alternatives go, there’s the Hisense B7500. That has Dolby Vision, features an edge-lit panel instead of a DLED, and can be had for a similar price.

Ah I was going to ask if you can get prime video, looks like a yes!
Do these TV's allow the manual setting for DNS etc?

I have a ROKU box and it does not allow it.

I have the B7500 and it's picture is superb, especially dolby vision from netflix. Seems to have the same apps as this roku one

Only £50 more than this basic 7100 series 7 model but with a 6 year warranty from richersounds. I know which TV I'd prefer.

Any apps you'd recommend for movies and series?

Most of the big name apps are already included so you just need to sign in to them, bbc Iplayer, Now Tv, Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon prime video etc, but there are a whole host of others available.
Personally those 5apps plus live Tv and I’ve not needed anything else.
Got the 43” a couple of a weeks ago, so far very happy apart from no CHILI movies app

Horses for courses, glad you are happy. I have this upstairs in a games room and it suits my requirements. The main tv downstairs is a Hisense OLED and its great too
