Are these tv good for watching adult movies ?

No, they can only play universal and parental guidance rated content.
Nothing wrong with it but it's an edge lit, 8+frc with a 1025mm (65'' one) width stand TV

60hz panel. U7A at 120hz.

60hz panel. U7A at 120hz.
Trying to decide between this one and the direct lit H50B7500UK (currently £449 - cashback). The U7B has local dimming and looks very decent here xataka.com/gal…uhd
I bought a 50" u7b 2 weeks ago from argos but took it back. For some reason I just couldn't get the lip sync correct with Sky Q, spent a weekend trying everything including a new hdmi lead and the only advice I could find online was to buy a separate sound bar. Bought a 55" Samsung RU7400 for £499 instead during the Ebay sale posted on here and its brilliant

They do look similar but no local dimming on 7500UK, no ac Dual band Wifi and 7mm thicker from what I can see. Probably worth the £50 for the local dimming

I ended up plumping for the RU7100, it looks quite similar: hotukdeals.com/dea…d=7

but this was mainly for its built in app support, in principle the Hisense is a better TV
Interesting that hisense were pushing the hdr10+ format are now supporting DV too. Guess they didn't want to be left behind the likes of Sony, LG or Philips for the budget end.

Wouldn't surprise me if HDR 10+ was abandoned in next 3 or 4 years, especially with Disney being a backer of DV.

60hz panel. U7A at 120hz.

50" U7A is a 60Hz panel.
55" & 65" U7A is a 120Hz

U7B seems to be 60Hz across the sizes.
How's the onboard apps these hisense TVs?

Children both have in there bedrooms and the OS runs fine, never had a problem with streaming services and both use WI-FI.

Is that real 120hz or the interpolation thingy which is really 60hz?

No good for 99.9 % of the public then .

I would also like verification on this, is the 55” and above 60Hz or true 120Hz?

Which one would you choose between these if both would have the same price?

Wouldn't bother with LG's cheap TV's. Most are IPS, so poor contrast and black levels. Some can't even display 4K content properly due to an RBGW sub-pixel arrangement.
This lg model has rbg panel. I already have it but I still can return it. And I was wondering if its worth the extra trouble. Both have the same Hdr brightness. Hisense has Dolby Vision and Lg doesnt.Probably both have the same menu lag. Hisense looks better but I am not seeing a lot of reviews about it. Does it have the same judder?I think both have 120hz refresh panels. I do not mind that its ips. I know about the black levels. The things that I notice the most would be judder and stutter. Which would handle this best? I am using mostly content from Netflix and Amazon and with a Nintendo Switch.

It's the U8B range that has 120Hz panels. It's only available in 55 & 65inch sizes according to the Hisense UK website
Just checked it's 60hz for those wondering

DV = Dolby Vision for anyone not understanding the meaning of the acronym.

Personally I would rather this than a cheap OLED. Sure OLED are better panels but sub 1k for 55”+ I wouldn’t bother. These Hisense
U7B are great build quality, have great features, smooth OS and it has the manufactures 2 year warranty. All in All this range are great TVs and you won’t find much better bang for your buck!
I do love a good adult novo on a big screen

This model, The U7B?
Only got it this morning and haven't done much testing but first impressions are very good. Brilliant picture and very good black levels. Plays 4K HDR and bluray content from USB without problems. Ultra smooth motion was doing my head in though so best to turn it off completely to avoid the "soap opera" effect.

Very decent sound too and I like the quick access buttons on the remote. Gonna have to play around with the settings more but even out of the box I'm very happy with it.
