More than 10 available. Took the plunge. From what I've seen these Hisense TVs seem to be getting mostly favorable reviews, especially for the price.

A 55" 4K TV for under £400!? What's the worst that could happen!

Care to elaborate how you came to this conclusion?

AO sells this for £579: ao.com/pro…spx

Pretty good reviews on most websites, including this German one (use Chrome to translate):

otto.de/p/h…75/

Obviously won't be a perfect TV given that they're being built to a budget, but HiSense is one of the largest brands in Asia, now reaching out to the EU and USA (recently acquired Whirlpool over there).
for the kitchen perhaps X)

How do you arrive at that conclusion?

+1

At least it's honest about what it is, not trying to be a Panasonic, Toshiba, JVC, Hitachi etc

Yet another ill-informed comment about Hisense. After Euro 2016 everybody will want one
Any good for gaming?
had this tv about 4 months paid around this price from AO it's absolutely fine, the only thing I would say is the volume is a little slow to react but apart from that no probs
OOS. Shame to have missed it would have bought this just to play Elite Dangerous on... Still, the Rift will arrive soon (but not soon enough, hope this comes back in stock)

Bit more info on the seller.

Brilliant tv, we have had the 65inch for 15 months.
Most technology is made in the P.R.C. and responsible for what you use today. Instead of following the crowd, who are mostly brainwashed by the media, to thinking they're getting a better product, when really it's just a badge for hire.
Have a look at the spare parts market for household appliances and you will see they are all generic.
Now decide what is in a name.
It's like those who shop at Lidl and carry out their shopping, in a M&S bag!
Installed one as a monitor for a customer & picture was superb. Can't comment on audio etc as we weren't using it for that but people really need to understand that quite often a badge is exactly that ... just a badge
£400 TV will always be that but some are considerably better than others. So don't try & compare it to a £6k+ OLED set not everyone has £30k cinema rooms
More unsubstantiated claims from idiot badge snobs who probably haven't even seen the quality of picture. I bought a (pre 4k) Hisense and used the money saved to purchase a 320w soundbar with wireless subwoofer. When I decide to upgrade next time, I shall probably be going back to Hisense for a 65" 4K model.
Hisense are great TV's with a lot to prove. The poster Mojoman doesnt know what he's talking about. I went in to RS to buy a Panny TX40CX680B and it was a stunning TV but left with the Hisense 321, why? Honestly there was not £300 worth of difference between them. Had the 321 since christmas and its been brilliant and with a 6 year guarantee you cant go wrong.

I hooked one up to my pc and it was terrible. The lag was unbearable. Supposed to have a gaming mode and the latest update was supposed to improve things further but it was still shocking.
However, as a TV 4k videos looked great and the tv seemed to have a good build quality. Just don't plug a PC into it!

I am typing this via a 40" 4k Hisense bought last November. No problems at all, though I don't play games on my pc. Just had to get a GTX 950 to get 4k. Applied the firmware upgrade, played with the settings and been fine since.

you were on the wrong hertz, set it up at 60hz. Or if you tried other resolutions ex: 1080p, you must customize it @60hz as it could usually automatically give even 24hz. That is why of the many reports of bad lagging. Gaming mode is only for consoles and does not do nothing to the PC

Gaming mode should be turning off any image processing that increases latency and it should work for any input. If it doesn't do that on a HiSense that's worth knowing and worth avoiding...

check your existing tv vs your existing monitor, try the input lag test with a camera and let us know if there is any minimal difference in speed with and without game mode flatpanelshd.com/foc…ull
Not sure why expired, looks the best price around for this much TV - so I ordered and it will arrive tomorrow. I do a lot of console gaming so will see, but sure it will be fine.
Well I got this tv and i will say I am pleasantly surprised. Hooked up and calibrated Xbox one. I use the usb to tuner with the Xbox no prob, HD channels good, SD channels bearable (this is the same on my main 4K Samsung which was 6x the cost). Gaming. Fine, no lag that I could notice. Then again im not a jacked up hyper mutant with superman X-ray vision. Just kinda normal eyes.
Nas streaming. Fine through the media app. All good. So for £370 a new 4K telly that gets the job done. Honestly, I can't yet fault this.

I'm pretty impressed. Any signs of light bleed? I have a small amount around the edge, only visible on dark screens. Just watched the first episode of Daredevil in 4k and it was great (except for the notable moments of bleed. Probably accept that for the price. Would try and get a replacement if it's just me though?)
I haven't noticed light bleed but haven't studied a properly dark image so will fire up a good ol space flick. I have the backlight ramped right down.
