If they are going to release it without Golden Eye I probably wouldn’t bother
Yep, I also got it for free without the subscription. I also noticed the SNES version is also free: amazon.co.uk/His…sr=

My apologies. it was showing 'Buy now' until I logged in.
Nice one fam. Heat applied
Awesome console
Banjo Kazooie and Tooie and Donkey Kong some of my favourite games. Regret not getting Conkers Bad Fur Day but it was only in latter years did I discover it. I'm playing Yooka Laylee which I love now (one hard game and a brilliant copy of this genre)

Thank O/P, got it and have some heat.

Yeah that game nearly ruined it, it was international track and field where the analog stick got its own back though
A good read, although the proofreading left a lot to be desired

Mario Party was the true analogue stick killer and the cause of many blisters

looks like a lazy pdf image scan rather than a true kindle document. It works on my ipad kindle app but might have problems on some of the text-based traditional kindles. They don't even appear to have run OCR on the resultant file

Think a lot would think the same. Imagine if they released goldeneye on the n64 mini and had multiplayer online. Would be incredibly good.

It would be nice to see local multiplayer, but I doubt online multiplayer. The Mini NES and Mini SNES are both mini Linux boxes (I think) so they could theoretically put a network stack in there with an ethernet or wifi connection but I suspect they will just stick with Linux as the host for the emulator and not bother with networking (like they did on the Mini NES/Mini SNES)

This is the one console I couldn't wait for but when I had it was a little disappointed with Mario 64 compared to its game magazine screen shots
I'm going to assume Nintendo can hear me here,

Please give us a N64 classic with Goldeneye.

You are not allowed to make mistakes.

You will not be forgiven.

We will never forget this.
This was my fav console, every game was fantastic, (perhaps it was just because i was about 10 years old, so whatever console is out at that time will be the fav)

OoT, goldeneye, mario kart, mario 64 were all fantastic
Why is this a deal?

Because if you click buy rather than 'read' it's a free e-book. Same publisher (click the name) also has a Super Nes book for free.
By book, I mean 50-page-magazine tbh.

Totally understandable. I'd expect nothing less

In response to the N64 mini - I was gifted a Nintendo 64 for Christmas with Goldeneye (amongst other games) and it really hasn't aged well

Hackers will find a way to add more games to the system just like with the NES & SNES Mini

I'm looking forward to Goldeneye and Pokemon Stadium.
Thanks OP.

I don't hold out much for the quality when there's a spelling mistake on the cover

But free is free

The complete 'History of The Nintendo 64', the greatest console of the 90's,

I'm a huge fan of Nintendo but the N64 wasn't the best console of the 1990s...
The SNES came out in the early 90s and the PS1 mid 90s with those two being significantly better.
Always nice to read about true video game history, before the noisy neighbours with their generic shooter focused consoles turned up.

I wouldn't say FPS games became system sellers until the PS3 & Xbox 360 era
Platformers, RPGs & fighting games were dominant in the SNES to PS2 eras.

What connection to your TV are you using? Composite? Everything looks so much better if you get an HDMI mod
