Since it has VGA and component inputs it would make the perfect companion for XBox gaming. I run mine through a similar specified machine and it looks very, very good.

Great price for what you get, but note it isn't actually High-Def, it's 800*600 (half the pixels of 720p). The phrase "HDTV Ready" is severely dishonest, and means absolutely nothing - several manufacturers are using this trick. It's only HD if it uses the trademark "HD Ready".

True, still a good price for a SVGA projector regardless.

i really think that the "HDTV READY" quote should be removed from the thread title as this is - as noted above - a severly misleading description which surely would fall foul of the trade descriptions act 1968.

Thats not a bad idea azz, I think people may have been voting cold on the grounds of that misleading claim, as it looks a pretty good deal to me for those looking for a projector for more general use.

Yeah, sorry, didn't mean to sound like criticisng the OP. It's a great price if you need a projector.

definitely a good deal if you want a projector for general use but I wouldn't want anyone to get fooled into this purchase.

Good price but also be aware that the contrast ratio is very low at 300:1. This is an LCD projector. If you're wanting one for home cinema I'd suggest going for a DLP projector. You'll definately notice the difference if it's for home cinema use. If you've never owned a projector before I'm sure you'd still be impressed with this one. You can't beat a big screen.

This has just been sent in the email promotion, still reckon it is a good deal for those after a basic projector. Like others have said, not brilliant for HD or home cinema uses but still seems very good value for money to me.
