Bought this a couple of weeks ago following a link via HUKD but now a new lower price. Quidco possible available too. Collect instore only so stock maybe limited - in saying that, my local has stock! Cheapest enternal 1tb drive out there?

NOTE: This is NOT a portable drive but a 3.5" Desktop drive as described by Comet "HITACHI XL-1TB DESKTOP
1TB BLACK DESKTOP HARD DRIVE"

Probably worth putting the fact it's a 3.5" drive in the title, as the word "portable" might lead people to think it's the 2.5" version (which would definitely be a bargain at this price).

Megamart.

Their website is playing up big time - can't even find out if my local stores have any.

What do you recon guys, is this the best deal around a the mo for this size? Or is there better to be had for similar money?

Stand corrected guys, it is a desktop - but portable in the sense of how I use it and perhaps not how everyone else would use it. Come on, it's the season of goodwill - it's not like you have to open up your desktop to swapout drives is it LOL. All the best.

just paid £47.99 for the last one at my local sainsburys. Fuel to my nearest comet would cost £4 - so this works out cheaper or me. Awaiting the delivery of an Acer Revo to give this drive a real go.
