Well 3" is a lot to some people isn't it?

Can this TV be used as monitor for computer???

Has anyone got the model number for this tv?

Thanks for your response though It doesn't look like that one, the Argos one doesn't have the curves.

Also the Argos one only has 1 hdmi socket whereas your model has 2.

I'm just trying to find some independent reviews on the net.

it's model L22DP03U

Thank you.

Do you think this is big enough to hook a wii up to? Moving into a rented room so will have to keep the wii in the bedroom.

Does anybody know if thers a region hack for the dvd player?

Knock out price, looks like a good purchase. Don't have the funds so temptation can sod off

Have done some research and it appears that previously the smaller screen Hitachi's (15" & 19") are not actually made by Hitachi - the sets themselves are made by Goodmans or Polaroid and badged as Hitachi. (These smaller sets were sold by the Dixons Group by the way.)

Other info also mentions problems with the 15" and 19" screen having some sort of condensation effect underneath the glass front. Also when people contacted Hitachi about these problems, they didn't want to know as they said these sets were a model specifically imported into the country by Dixons/Currys Group and they would not officially support it.

Now I'm not saying for an instant that these 22" sets have these problems (i'm picking one up tomorrow myself) just informing people of previous problems with sub-26" Hitachi sets...

Hopefully those of us that get one will be very happy

I'll report back once it's been given the once over.

I bought the 19 inch version last weekend and had problems straight away. Set up was fine but on turning the TV off and on the set up had to be completed each time....i.e. it wiped the channels. Also the EPG locked up during use. I exchanged it and had exactly the same issue on the second one. Shame as the TV looks very smart.

I ordered one (last night) for home delivery, as I've been watching this site for a decent Monitor/tv combo to replace my old PC monitor (I have a cream/beige CRT connected to an Aluminium Powermac, its embarassing...).

It's not even here yet, and its been relocated to the bedroom to replace the seperate TV, DVD, Freeview that are all stacked up in there!

Can't justify buying 2, in case it Does turn out to be a bit of Turkey - so I still don't have a ruddy monitor!

Just reserved 1 at evesham store they only have 1 left be fast peeps or shall I have another hmmmmmm...............................HOT HOT HOT

anyone know which side the dvd loads on this please?

another question...
can someone tell me the width of this tv as the one's stated are obviously incorrect
W = 40.6cm, can't be correct when the diagonal of screen is 22" = 56cm........
my 19" tv is 43cm wide
