Do you mean tablet?? Sounding like a true parent

Great tv for my kids bedroom thanks

Anyone know if you can get Netflix and lovefilm apps on this? Also how does the wifi work as I see you have to get a dongle? Thanks.

looking at the questions on argos

The product has the following application. BBC iPlayer, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, AccuWeather, World of RedBull, Skype (camera required), Daily Motion and CineTrailer. The product does not have an open web browser

to use the apps

The Toshiba SD1010KB DVD Player will only require one or the other. Either a wireless dongle or an Ethernet cable.

Agree with the point, but it does say right at the bottom in "additional information" - * Please note item 1115516 has previously been on sale at 149.99.

Gone for it anyway even at £169. Bought my son a 22" Toshiba combo for xmas, but the bleeding thing buzzed which was very audible at low volume, as did the replacement. Will report back on sound after it is set up - though as its gone up £20 and the supermakets have deals on I guess its less interesting now!

OK well the Hitachi doesn't buzz like the Toshiba did, there is a slight high pitch whine intermittently but you can't hear it when the volume is on (unmuted).

As for the sound quality, well it is slightly on the poor side. Volume is sufficient but not ear deafening, and there is a distinct lack of bass. But this was bought as a TV for my son's bedroom, and as while I'd be disappointed with the sound if it was my main TV, it is more than adequate for bedroom use.. Its all a bit subjective isn't it.

The DVD player is loud!

One thing is clear though, this is much better value than the 22" Toshiba I previously tried. The internet part of the TV isn't going to win awards but its nice to have, the picture and sound seem on par, and its bigger, it has an extra HDMI port. In fact there are many similarities with menu and dials that makes me suspect both TVs are re-badges made at the same source ?

how do you access the smart apps I brought the dongle and I connected fine but it's telling me I got no connection I don't know how to find the apps??

How do you even use Facebook on this TV all I can see is newsfeeds? How do I get on notifications and private messages and so on???

I bought one of this telly and I have the dingle and I try to connect it still saying no connection any one know how to do ? I would be happy to if I can get some information thanks
