it is worth getting at least a 1 yr warranty if you can. i've had three reconditioned lcds break within 9 months. i know this one is new, but it can happen. after my experience i wouldnt buy anything this expensive without any form of backup. i now have a tv from john lewis with a 5 yr guarantee. it was the cheapest i could find at the time too.

bear in mind you are probably covered for 6 months on this tv under the sale of goods act.

Welcome to HUKD The Plod

Not worth parting the money for a TV with just 3 months warranty !

seems a very good price. what put me off is the warranty on it.

Steer Clear on this money saving buddies!!!

Oh, by the way...........

I'm in the market for a 32" HD Telly but those reviews certainly don't do it any credit. Shame thought you'd spotted me my bargain!

thanksagain you guys are great with advice i would have bought it for mum and she would have really suffered --she gets wound up ringing me to sort out tv etc as she is 87 yrs i am busy and 3 breakdowns in 9 mths is a disgrace even if people say what do you expect if yo pay peanuts etc
thanks kp matthews

Not all bad! Just for balance...read these reviews... reevoo.com/rev…700

A good report on AVForums (this was the only relevant quote I could find!):
avforums.com/for…700
"Got the TV today, bloody amazing picture to my eyes! only tried TV freeview (**** signal it has to be said round our area) but so far it looks great, crisp and quality. The dvd I tried (Toy Story 2) looked the best I have ever seen the film look, it was staggering!"

We just bought the 32inch Matsui from Currys online and with discount voucher posted on here it was £275 and i also used quidco which I think is another 3.5%
I am not qualified to say if it is technically god but it was for our second room and the picture is clear and it is lovely to watch so no complaints-and 12 months warranty!

try the on button, lol

Sale of Goods Act probably would give it a 6 month warranty.

But can you imagine trying to explain that to the staff?

Asda have their own brand 32inch LCD (Onn) for £315 at the moment as it has got 10% off.

Not sure what it's like, just an alternative if you are looking.

a quick google search finds it for this price at other places anyway e.g.

electrical-deals.co.uk/Ser…htm

....nothing special

put this product through the search engine and found loads of hits for it being sold elsewhere for the same price

......nothing special

Sold out now!

had one of these broke down after 2 weeks steer clear

I thought that I would just comment on this post, as I am in an industry that supplies TV manufacturers.
It doesn't really matter what name is on the TV nowadays, as many of the LCD panels for the different TV manufacturers are made at the same factory. They just have the applicable badge stuck on the front.
One of the biggest LCD TV manufacturers in 'Europe' is based in Turkey. They badge for all the big names and also sell under their own 'Beko' brand, so don't get too hung up on which brand you are buying; they probably originate from the same factory!

My deal post for this telly got panned! Too enthusiastic? lol

Brilliant telly. I bought it from electrical-deals.co.uk with my HSBC credit card - they add 2 years onto electrical goods warrantys if you buy them on your card and tell them. So I have a 3 year warranty now on mine.

I ordered this item (registering with Bigpockets in the process). They have taken the money but I havent received any communication from them whatsoever. I dont know if and when the item will arrive. Is this normal with Bigpockets?
