very good price

google around, £46.99 at one place I use a lot. Been that price for months too.

link?

link?

the reason I said google around is because the very large internet trader got banned from hukd for self promotion. Had you done a simple google search before you posted you would have seen that it was one of the first to come up. I am sure that their will be others that will beat tesco. In the summer I got 350gb pocket usb hard drive from amazon for £39.95.

i did a "quick Google", couldn't find it, hence asked for a link, no worries, thanks for the help....

I tried searching too and cudnt find anything at the price suggested above... so not sure which retailer is being talked about here....60 quid is the cheapest I can find anywhere...

type in: Hitachi 500GB Portable Hard Drive
it is the very first line.

still cant find it, have come across an external seagate 3.5" 500gb hard drive at £46.99, but not the same as this one.

You can say who it is, and provide a link, you simply can't submit a thread.
No need for the cloak and daggers.

Anyways enough about that nonsense (ebuyer has a 3.5" one, not the same as this)

This has been posted alittle while back as I recall

Although I think people would generally prefer the WD at pcworld, other than this Hitachi drive

Ebuyer have been banned for a while due to them posting deals as if they are a member of the site. Self promotion is not allowed.

.

the deal is ok these drives are starting to come down to about £60 now.

Really??

The first line actually says as per a google search...

"Ebuyer Hard Drive Offer
www.E****.com/Hard_Drives Seagate 500GB on Sale Today For Just £46.99 From"

Then when you search the website shop itself, the Hitachi harddrive you quote as being priced £86 is actually the "Hitachi 500GB Portable Hard Drive Hi Speed USB Rugged" edition which according to Amazon reviews either fails within months or the ribbon cord becomes detached.

To the admin's, I'm just clarifying this issue.
I have the aforementioned portable harddrive purchased from Tesco store. Ordered on the weekend and arrived on Tuesday as the ordered was processed Monday. Nearly no difference between it and the Western Digital Passport range. The USB cord provided fits snuggly into the mini-USB port and is not easily detachable. The upper part of the chassis is carbon fibre. Also a 3 year warranty, not 1 or 2 years. Goes well with both my 15.4" Rock notebook & Macbook pro.
