I think it was £10 more with the soundbar but yes that was a good deal.
for those of you who have missed out on the soundbar, dont worry hardley and sound came out of it anyway, waste of money
Might be worth getting there extra guarantee for a few pounds just incase though
I have this TV or a very similar one, it has a wifi. Here is a response to one of the Q&A'a about wifi:
Best practice is to connect directly to your router however as this product has a built in wifi module you can connect directly to a wifi network if that is more practical.

I am happy with the TV, it works well and is connected to my wireless hard drive. Picture and sound are good.
I thought they just did news
yes you get a 50 inch screen size but the quality is just awful.
Better to the spend the same money on a smaller size quality screen like a samsung.
I have owned 2 Hitachi TVs and both had bad viewing angles , light bleeding on the edges, ghosting , dead areas and very very low build quality.
Remember ..... you always get what u pay for!
Where I find it very good, especially for its cost, is the screen quality. Hi def content looks pretty good.Having changed from plasma to this, I was concerned it would not display dark content very well, but it does it as well as my old 50" LG Plasma did.
I bought this as an interim measure, until affordable decent size 4k TVs and content become available, and thought for the price it would have a few shortcomings. All in all for the price, its a good deal.
Cheers for the honest answer, I will skip on this garbage.
No you do not..its already has wifi
Stay clear is my advice as my sister in law got it and tried to return it due to the sound but Argos told her she couldn't and sound her the matching sound bar which was even worse.
I bought this last week. Can you tell me if you have a gap where the screen meets the frame around the tv.
No, just had a close look, definately not.
No, just had a close look, definately not.
ok thank you. took it back and got another one but this still has a slight gap.
£320 from here or £289 if you buy instore, based in West midlands.
Comment
Hi mate. Where does it say 60hz? That's the one thing putting me off is the 50hz will suck for gaming
yes the sound is awful but everything else is great, for me anyway. lack of HDMI ports is a minus for me but i had a spare switch so its OK.
plenty of options in the menu to configure the TV. I upgraded from cheap 32" TV so this a great improvement in all areas.
wifi....easy to setup though thebsmart TV features wernt great,a lot of foreign apps but I had an update for it today and its a lot better, very android/Google play store looking but I have an android TV box attached with xbmc so I dont really care about the smart features.
overall I'd give it 7-10.
lack of HDMI
crap sound
those r the only bad points I've got with this TV after a months use.
viewing angles pretty good. got a small.living room and settee as at the side of the TV but I can still see clearly sitting right by the TV at an angle
