Just wondered why this was getting the thumbs down?

Its £50 dearer than the samsung 40" posted earlier, so you get 2" extra :w00t:and a 5 year guarantee with this model :thinking:

Very poor dynamic contrast means poor picture quality, esp. blacks!

VVVVVery poor quality when you compare to Sony/LG/Panasonic etc - sorry better to go to Richersounds or anywhere else and get another make - Hitachi are REALLY struggling in the market at the moment

I had a look at this TV in store, the picture quality is terrible for a FULL HD tv.

totally agree when i was looking around the Hitachi just stood out as being dull/slow response etc. Though i would never say never it was for a second TV -but NO WAY at this price.
