Hive active colour light, bayonet fitting £29 @ Amazon

For anyone who grabbed a free Hive from British Gas or just needed a colour light bulb, Amazon have dropped the B22 fitting to £29. Screw cap remains at £39.99 for some reason, and the next cheapest I've been able to find is £33 direct from Hive.

But still, 29 quid for a bulb!

Plus, coloured lights look tacky as F! It's not the 80s!

But I like the 80s. Is your house magnolia, perchance?

15 shades of grey and silver on the wife's orders. Magnolia is just a fancy word for cream though.

They're good for switching between warmness of white. O wouldnt buy non-RGB bulbs.

Deep red is also good for not disturbing night vision or submarine imitation.

These were discounted massively by Hive Directly on Cyber Monday at £11 a bulb ... absolutely gutted to have missed out

Finally a bayonet fitting! Thank you! HEAT added

I have Hive but still can't justify paying this when you can have a yeelight up and running for less than a tenner!

Yes had my first one arrive the other day, cost around £8.60 and works a treat

£6:43 was my best price (+ £1:20 for adaptor)

I'm stopping at 4 bulbs.

There's another thread with a £100 doorbell.

We've both the colour and regular bulbs from Hive. Even being a sad geek and having kids to impress /play with stuff we don't use the colour option anymore. They're too house of horrors, not natural enough to add a nice glow for watching movies.

Has anyone got these working direct with ST without using the Hive hub? I've got my British Gas freebies working direct but I've not found anyone to confirm if the colour change ones will work.

BTW, this is currently shown at £24 on Prime and Prime Now.

You're right, it is. Do I need to expire this?

Even though the bulbs I bought had not even been delivered to the Amazon locker yet, Amazon have refused to refund the difference to me. They want me to leave it in the locker for three days to be returned, and just re-order at the lower price. Appalling.
