I think its a good deal if you are after just heating as not everyone needs the water and heating version as this dont work with the new systems,

In English, please!!

It's a good price...thou better on Amazon... Not sure why this is not getting heat.

Nest is a better system...if you only have heating to control. Hive is a better option if you want to manage your hot water and heating.

I have the hive and wish I bought the Nest everytime it fails on me

Merry Christmas, good to see a long standing member with 70 comments and no deals trying to put someone right who has contributed more to the site in the same time frame. The posts makes sense if you put your own commas in it.

Why do you need to control a boiler when you're out?

Who gives a toss ? This isn't a gentleman's club, it's a website. Keep looking, you may find a deal on a life soon enough, as you obviously don't have one if you have time to go through people's post count and compare them with others !

I had this fitted back in September, and it's working brilliantly with my latest Bosch combi boiler installed. The hot water function is just extra features for regular water tank boilers, you don't have to use it if you don't have a water tank. I use it to turn on heating while on my way home, and you can programmed the thermostat 24/7 via your smartphone, it hasn't fail me since.

It must be weird not knowing even roughly when you'll be home so that a normal 7 day programmer would not suffice.

No wonder traffic is so slow getting out of city centres with idiots stopping to switch on their boilers.

This is something that most people really don't need but get sucked into believing they need. I imagine you spend most of the evening checking if you need to tweak your heating.

It's nice to look at the temperature when you're out in case the pet gets too cold...

its £199 at argos at the moment (inc installation) ...
