Better set the hive to HOT , it’s getting chilly in here
Could have had this for £99 installed through British Gas rewards last year. I’d wait for better discounts
That was without a hub. It’s £129 I think now without a hub. This is not the best deal they have done but it’s still a good offer considering other current prices unless you’ve got a time machine

For this price i just buy a time machine.
I don't understand why this is so cold.
The basic system with a hub is around £130 at the cheapest. So you're effectively paying £31 for someone to professionally install it.

If like me, your receiver was compatible with the wireless backplate that had already been installed on my previous system, clearly, you may as well do it yourself.

But if it needs access to the gas system electric board and needs some rewiring, it's an absolute bargain.
Because it’s dead easy to fit yourself. I managed to get the hive with free echo dot for £59 direct from BG and bought a brand new hub off eBay for £40.

I'm inclined to agree with you, seems to be the best deal out here at the moment if you're with British gas rewards. Can sell the free echo dot that they give with this deal (£10-15) and reduce the price further. I currently don't have a thermostat so best to get it installed by a professional.
Appears to be the cheapest price out there, but I’m holding out for a bigger discount like last year.
Thanks OP.

Hive plus hub being fitted next Tuesday 18th.
Anyone knows if you can you use thermostat without hive hub?

I think you can but you don’t have the functionality of controlling your heating using your mobile phone etc. It just acts like a normal thermostat
