I thought that but later on it states:

Box Contains
1 x Hive thermostat
1 x Hub
1 x Receiver
1 x User guide and installation guide

So that is everything you need for a combi boiler. I fitted mine without any issues, but you aren't meant to open up a boiler unless qualified. Depending on boiler age you may just be able to swap out your current stat for the receiver.

Make sure your buy the correct hive for your boiler. I bought a multi ( hot water and heating) but it wouldn’t work with my boiler. Had to re buy a combi one

Does anyone know if this will run radiators on a combi and then if you buy an additional thermostat for some wet underfloor - they can both linked and controlled via the one app? I'm finding it hard to get the correct info.

Totally depends on the boiler and thermostat setup.
A lot of videos just show a straight forward swap with the current thermostat in a wall.

I had to open up my boiler and rewire from there. A lot of people wouldn't touch a boiler's internals.

In other words: if you are lucky and only need to replace thermstat on wall without even removing the plate do it.
Otherwise if you do have to open boiler and do not know how to use a multimeter don't attempt.

I guess that's it. Seen someone paying 40 quid to repair an USB charging cable which is a 5 min job for a 6 year old... thus nothing surprises me.

Ordered one but a Bit worried as does say thermostat only on a few places & i do see the bottom bit but not holding out hope!

Its amazon, you just return it for a full refund. I think the confusion is it is a 'heating only' thermostat, rather than a 'water and heating' thermostat.

Don't worry, they'll accept it back. There would be no need for the 'Additional thermostat' option if this was just the stat, and on their own they sell for a lot less.
