I just put some Intergral LEDs in my living room and they buzz too. I didn't want to but have bought a recommended dimmer switch for LEDs- this on i bought from eBay,OP401W-P Varilight 1 Gang, White Moulded Bevel Range, 400 Watt Dimmer switch.
Now i need t owork out if i can chenage the dimmer switch or need to pay an electriacn to do it! More expense than i wanted just to change to LEDs on a dimmer switch.

If your talking about the hive bulbs it's recommended that they remain fully on and dimmed through the app to prevent flickering or buzzing

I have these and RGB Yeelights and would recommend the Yeelights due to much lower price when on offer and functionality

If I can change a switch, anyone can.

On some dimmer switches there is a small screw on the side (inside where the wires are etc). Whilst the bulb is buzzing you turn the screw slowly until the buzzing stops.

I'm new to this - I'm getting hive heating installed (waiting for Black Friday). Would you recommend hive bulbs or Philips hue lighting?

You would be better off getting Yeelight colour bulbs from Gearbest for 6 quid a pop. A hell of a lot cheaper and they work really well. I have them around the house, and use the app to control them ( echo 2 arriving tomorrow ).

Hive ones are brighter and work well with the hive app. I have both, hive ones run cooler as well. You can only pick a shade of white with hive but they give out a lot more light.

Im all new to this too but i just set up philips hue lights the other day and have no buzzing from them there great

I really want either Hive or Xiaomi to start supporting the E14 fitting then I'll buy a load of smart bulbs!
