Hive Clearance instore at Asda - from £1.90

41
LocalFound 4th Jul
Just been in to my local, they had a massive clearance on Hive accessories and bulbs.

Hive thermostat stand - £2.90
Hive Active Plug - £3.20
Hive Active light bulb E27 - £3.50 / £4
Hive active light warm white £2.40 - £2.90
Hive thermostat surround £1.90

No idea why the prices fluctuated, different barcodes on the same items.. either way.. good luck.

Retail for all that £550
Wooooooaaahh!
Similar deal a week or so ago but glad still some out there. No stock Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline or Glenrothes at that point.
Wish all that was local !
Can’t decide if I should vote hot or not cos you’ve probably bought the lot
All of the Hive products are Bee lines!!
To be fair I did buy it all, no more in York
Also just realised the price fluctuates because of the type of screw on each bulb. 💡
I feel like I got ripped off for my B22 in my local Asda by paying a tenner for a standard white bulb, I guess I should have held off and waited for it to fall
i have never seen any hive in my asda, what section was it in?

Not sure why you posted then, is it just at your store that you cleaned out or nationwide ?, none at the 3 Asda's i went to. I hope someone else got lucky otherwise this was a real waste time

How is it a waste of time? I’ve no idea if it was nationwide or not, I posted because if it is nationwide it’s a good offer

Bit over dramatic.

Smart bulbs normally use around 0.1 to 0.5w in standby.

That's around 0.04 to 0.18p per day in standby.

It's going to cost less than 50p per year per bulb.

Hmm you seem to be assuming everyone has lots of dosh what about the folks on the bru?
Every penny counts for some people dude!

Depends on what tariff you are on but thats not the point its the fire risk if you have 10 of them on all day inside an enclosed light fitting and especially in weather like this - you any idea the heat that is generated especially the cheap chinese ones with components removed to save money - checkout bigclivedotcom and his reviews he is an electronics expert and does teardowns of these!
You got them all good for you. Heat added.
I'm not a fan of Hive stuff because of the prices but I would have brought out the entire stock at these prices even if it was 10x more than I needed. I'm probably more jealous of you getting these than any other post on here, there's no way I'd get them at this price. 1 person per asda would have cleared them out which is probably why this is voted cold, nobody is going to get it.

First rule of HUKD club, never admit to buying it all.
I ordered a hive product from online and think its broke or they ripped me off! the lights don't work and every time i look at it to fix it i get hurt, also with it hanging in the lounge the noise drowns out the tv. not recommended.

Bargain shame hive is a load of rubbish, the heating system is great but all these little gimmicks are not fit for purpose. They literally need the hub glued to the side of them to work or they randomly disconnect from the hub. Got lights that must be within 5 metres of the hub and they don't work after a few days.

Heating system is flawless 10/10

The lights and sensors, lights are very dim and the sensors are terrible they have no range at all. 2/10

No problems with mine (2 door sensors, 1 motion sensor and a plug)I also have the heating. Some of these are at least 10 meters away. Maybe speak with Hive support?

It’s a good offer. But a waste of time cos you’ve cleared the shelf and then posted the deal lol.

I think they guys are being a bit unfair. You’ve posted a lot of great deals!!
Everyone’s allowed to splurge every now and again.
