Since the other Echo Input deal is showing as OOS, I had a look around for another qualifying product and here it is - £2 cheaper !

Is it not cheaper and more sensible to purchase a smart switch.
Everything else is OOS that has the Spotify deal - this is the cheapest thing available that's in stock and qualifies on it's own without having to spend the additional £49 pounds.
What is the wattage? Had a look under specs and no info
If these bulbs communicated with the Hue dimmer switches it would make the Hive bulbs unbeatable. Unfortunately hive seem to limit these to only talk to the Hive app or Alexa and other smart assistants.
No idea. I'm buying it for the Spotify code.

I ordered two on the same account and I was worried i wouldn't get the code as the live chat person implied it was one per email address, but i've just rung them (again) and they've confirmed that since i made two seperate, individual orders that i would get a code for each one.

"New Premium Spotify customers only". This caveat is ugly!

You won’t get the Spotify deal with this, orders over £49

I've already rung Currys who have confirmed that I will. It's the same with the other Amazon Echo Input deal. It qualifies as it's a smart home device.

Easy enough to create a new account with a new email address and copy all of your playlists over.

Had bought some stuff from Currys but returned it. Just got an email from them with code to claim 6 months Spotify. Can I use it or will it be declined somehow?
Is there any way I could get this or GU10 LEDs in general into a Long Barrel socket? I cant seem to find Long Barrel LED bulbs or Long Barrel to GU10 LED adaptors.

Claim it and see - you can’t lose really
how long does it take to get the voucher emailed through?

They told me on the phone it would be within the next 14 days - i think it's done like that to prevent people buying the item and returning it just for the code.
Ordered. Thanks!
Anyone know where I can find code on receipt?

It's not on the receipt, it will apparently arrive via email within 14 days

It is off you bought in store. Anyhow I believe I have found it and it doesn't qualify as it's under £49 purchase.

Well I think it wouldn't have qualified if you'd have bought it in store regardless of anything else.

I rang three separate people from currys before, and after, i ordered mine and everyone said it did qualify on it's own.

I've tried the code and it doesn't work. Let me know if yours does

I'm collecting my bulbs tomorrow and i'll double check the situation regarding the code, but i'm still confident that it will arrive via email as i've been told.

I only bought 2 bulbs, so i've only spent £26 quid.

They would, but that's via WiFi and you'd need to buy the hub to add that functionality. That's why I've gone the Kasa route, no need for a separate hub for the WiFi to work and as far as I can see, pretty similar to the functionality of Hue bulbs. I think the physical dimmer is a but of a pfaff with the Kasa, but how difficult is it to say 'Alexa, set the bedroom light to 50%'.
Anyone got the email yet?
Pretty sure they have changed the terms now, I don't recall it saying "Plus any audio product above £49" when I made my purchase. I tried signing up using my CUR order number and they offered me 3 months.
