Is this cheap? I’m after some but honestly don’t know what they normally go for. Yes I can look at RRP but some of you may know they’re often a certain price elsewhere?
Thanks

No,

Not very versatile

Yelight would be my reffomendation

If you wanted motion sensors then I'd reccomend Xiaomi hub system with yeeliguts

Or Phillips hue

Hive bulbs might be useless if you change heating system

I have a hive heating system and have zero plans to change it seeing as we only moved into the new house - and installed this - in June. We love hive (for what we need it for)

My question was regarding price. Is this a decent price?

I do appreciate your reply - just not what I was asking for

They were £10 at AO mid-November, so not the cheapest price currently but improvement on the questionable rrp.
I get your hesitation as had the same issue with these crazy prices for bulbs and accessories.

We've found them handy for getting up in the night to change baby but as with most smart tech could easily go back to being without.

Doesn't help you much but of course depends how flush ££ you're feeling I guess and whether you want them enough right now
best price for coluored version of these?

Fair enough.

They’re a luxury but again we find the single one we have useful, for times around the little one in the night etc.
That’s then made me lazy enough to want the living room with a couple in to make life easier
If you have a hive bulb and turn it off at the mains /switch you lose settings and go to default.
Tp-link (maybe others) you choose what happens when this happens..
Wouldn't touch hive bulb again

Ah I see you do have one already. Yea we have definitely thought the same for living room . Would ideally like the GU10's for up/down lights but they're crazy money considering the Wickes deals for ordinary led ones work out <50p each

What settings are lost? Does it reconnect once power is restored?

Surely what you need are a few smart switches rather than multiple smart bulbs?

I turned mine off and back on yesterday and while they came on straight away they picked up the schedule and turned off at the correct time, maybe a recent change?

Schedules are in the app. Tplink give you the option on what you want it to do after a switch is flicked... Mimick previous setting or go to a certain default..
Tplink are better for Google home I find too... Just me!
