Thank you for sharing. It’s also available on amazon but slightly more expensive at £18.99. Happy Friday.
If you have BG rewards, all hive accessories are 50% off making it cheaper than this 🏻
They are not wifi. But what are they? Zigbee or wave or other.

When did saying happy in front of the day become a thing just wondering?

Yes £15 I’m not sure if I need this might have used it to turn off lights when I leave or on when I get back but how does it know if I’m leaving or coming back? Could get annoying going outside to get letters and all the lights go out etc.

Thinking about it, I can’t even remember. That’s the problem, we just start following others and then these kinds of phrases just become the norm. Oh well, thanks to the Op for sharing the deal.

Go in rewards and you'll get a code, then use that on the hive website
ShadowWulf29/11/2019 08:21

Via what. Zigbee l. Zwave or another

It is a custom Zigbee system meaning you can't join it into other ecosystems.
Hive does work with smartthings with a device handler for example, but not without the hive hub, you are not adding the individual components, you add the hive hub which in turn gives you access to everything attached to the hive hub.

Not sure if you'd get these issues... Probably would at some stage. But it's definitely capable of doing these things. I'm not sure if you could use geolocation instead or if that's just for heating.

I think geolocation only works for heating annoyingly because they would work better if combined or maybe wouldn’t need this because it will alert you.
I am also struggling to think of any practical use for this in a family household (ie with other people in the house) anyone got one? What do you use it for?

We have them on our downstairs doors and I activate them when we are not in.
so for me , it’s only for security.
Thanks big up. I guess you could call a neighbour if they get triggered?

I think it’s good to have a hive camera or similar so you can see what’s going on too but it’s expensive.
