Yes, and if you get two of these units you can set one to the Left channel and the other to the Right channel for stereo sound. Has to be the Jam Plus version though, the regular or Jam Classic does not have this capability.
Couldn't agree more with you!

Same spec, made in the same factory by the same company. To be fair they sound pretty good, but it was never worth the £30 rrp. Its just a handy little yolk for pumping music on the move from your phone (my nephews love theirs)
On topic, ordered one a few weeks ago it was £13 I use it every night
Yes, you're right, & it probably sums up just about every product that is manufactured in the Far East that is available here to buy with a brand name (except some premium products perhaps).
They are also doing TWO for under £14 (sent from the UK, so much quicker delivery), which makes it £7 each: ebay.co.uk/itm…275
And a 'waterproof' one for under £11 (from HK): ebay.co.uk/itm…801
That UK one is the older smaller speaker model. But the waterproof one looks good, I think I saw a JCB branded one in the north. No idea what the sound would be like from a waterproof sealed speaker, but would be cool to listen to music under water... Now If I can only think of a somewhere warm enough to try...
neither you or the other chap linking to the other chap product are right.
I have the actual hmdx plus and the cheap waterproof ones you linked. They are totally different orifices and totally different quality. If interested you can see my video reviews from probably 6 months ago For both the actual one in this deal and the cheap waterproof one you linked. I have several of each model as shown in my video reviews on youtube Chanel which if interested then you can find the link on my hukd profile.
The hmdx plus quality is better than the other generic ones linked.
And that stopped working as well when I upgraded to iOS 8, but has mysteriously started working again. The HDMX Jam makes quite a good paperweight, though. I have come to believe that Bluetooth is a lot more hassle than a length of cable. I got a HDMX Jam for my girlfriend when I got mine. She has not upgraded to iOS 8 and uses is all the time. It's great when it works. Just sayin'.
Mine works perfectly with an iPhone 4S and iPad Air both on iOS8. Have you tried clearing the pairing information on the Jam Plus? You can do this by holding the power button and play/pause button together for 5 seconds. When you next turn on the Jam Plus you can then re-pair it to your iPhone or iPad.
Edit: You may also need to choose 'forget device' under the bluetooth menu on the iPhone/iPad before trying the pairing process again.
