I know the 2 for £30 is nothing new but just checked earlier and they've added some new titles including Gladiator and Saving Private Ryan. These are £20 everywhere else.

Which is why you would go hmv. Zavvi are trash!
Amazon.it have 3 for €30 on some of these titles, worth a look too.
4k discs need to come down soon, far too expensive with 4k streaming being so much cheaper.

4k steaming doesn't really compare to bluray if you're after quality.

The difference is negligible, certainly not worth paying 50% more for.

Opinion, plenty of people would disagree.
Also, steaming licenses run out, you won't be able to steam any film forever whereas a physical copy is always available.

However you paint it £25 for a single film is ridiculous. I have 32 4k discs so I know the benefits but there's a good reason why 4k blu rays haven't taken off.

I agree the prices are too high, I was merely pointing out you can't really compare streaming to physical when it comes to quality and for the long run.

I agree - I have about 20 or so and I only buy them when they're in the 2 for £30 or if I can get them cheaper pre-owned in CEX, eBay etc. I sell the blu ray discs and UV codes immediately which takes the price down to about £10 per film. Just wish they could sell 4K only discs without the included blu rays etc. But then most people want the special features on the blu ray whereas I just want the film.
While streaming is a lot cheaper, if you have a good tv/setup you'll see the difference between streaming and 4k physical media! I can't afford the tv nor have the space for one!
Streaming of course also relies on the quality of your internet connection. I despise buffering and would happily pay more to avoid it with physical media.

Perhaps when digital media is available to download and watch offline it would be worth the investment.
Looks like Black Panther, Thor Ragnarok, and Last Jedi have all gone in today too -
