A huge selection of Blu-ray films on offer. I've just picked up Chinatown, Brazil, Blade Runner, The Assassin, Seven Samurai, Breathless, Jules et Jim, Apocalypse Now, Citizen Kane and 2001: A Space Odyssey for £60. Free second class delivery, or £4.95 for 2 working day.

Plenty of classics and cult films on the list.

HMV's 5 for £30 -it's a very good deal if you can regularly find 5 you want. I have to wait at least a few months in between purchases now to allow new entries into the listings. Very good way to buy your films, if you don't mind waiting to see them.
Great titles in the offer (shame the Arrow titles finished a few days ago), but HMV's site is horrible to use. They really need to add more filters to help sorting through thousands of titles.
Chinatown doesn't have extras unlike the region-free USA one (which is cheap). Brazil (UK) only has lossy sound unlike any other version - get the French/German/Italian which are cheap and English-friendly.

At least they until you mention Brexit - then forget it..
nice find, really want to buy some to finish out some collections, but I have everything stored on my server now and don't use blu ray, but still really want some lol

Need to add Jason bourne, latest transformers and latest potc. Also fancy some superhero movies, such as bvs ad suicide squad

Why not? It's 2000 titles for £30. (_;)
Game changer.

Clearly a few people didn't know about it, or needed a reminder
How is this a relevant deal? This has been on for yonks
Its a great deal regardless of its age, its a deal hmv always have but it's amazing how many times a bluray will be £8-10 most places but hmv are sure to have it in the offer

so just spend £8 on the film you want instead of £30?

£6 A film sounds good but you can get most of the films cheaper elsewhere and as already stated, better versions content and audio wise

I agree. If something has been going for years how is it a deal? Every HMV had this deal and has had it for years.
Before you rush to choose 5 it is worth checking individual prices on Amazon. I just did and a lot of the choices I considered are around £5-£6 each.
Bit of a shame HMV's website is so slow and quite often fails to load!

If its under 10 quid you pay postage. Plus many are not available elsewhere cheaper, that was my point. Im talking older titles though or those that are arrow video releases. Depends on what you collect i suppose
