Hogwarts legacy on PS4/5/Xbox for pre-order at Shopto for a sub-£50 price. Seems fairly decent and game looked good from the state of play.

sorted byNo, you can pay when they ship it out. So can't hurt to have an order in, in case it doesn't drop lower, but can cancel hassle free if it comes in cheaper.
You can check the 'pay on dispatch' box, but you'll have to pay by card not paypal

Well, Game UK have the PS5 version for £69.99 and places like Argos are currently pricing it at £59.99. All subject to change, but it is at least a £5 saving over the likes of Base.com as next cheapest offering at the time of posting.

We get it, you either don't game or you buy everything 18 months after release for maximum discount.

Looks like they take payment, but they will refund if you cancel. I.e if you find a cheaper copy.
Release looks to be 31st Dec 22.
31st of December has always been publishers version of ‘tbc’, it’s not actually a release date
Hopefully they’ll iron that out but if recent games are anything to go by I won’t hold my breath for that lol

And people should be made aware of these things so they can make an informed decision of where their money is going. Not sure what the problem is.
Seems like the devs kind of missed the point of why Harry Potter is so popular. They think people want to go to Hogwarts so they can fight enemies? Should have made a slice of life game where you take classes and interact with other characters.
Only half serious, obviously fighting games make more money, just seems a bit of a missed opportunity for an HP game with some money behind it (that isn't lego).

They grieved me hard for my PS5 pre-order, cancelled my 'registered interest' and my chance to buy one on my birthday in 2020. Happy days.
The PS4 version will play on both, although it's unclear whether it'll provide an upgrade to the native PS5 version. The PS5 version will only play on the PS5.
As above, PS5 version only on PS5. PS4 version will play on either, but it will just be the PS4 version.
RRP is a £10 difference, so expect a £10 optional upgrade from PS4 to PS5 version.

They could of released it just before Christmas, it would be the best present

the game will be released in November, a developer who left the studio said this because he worked in PR and stuff so i think its good to pre-order this right now
