Before I explain I know that this wont suit everyone - This is for a family who are on a tight budget but want a foreign holiday.

I posted a similar deal about this time last year :
hotukdeals.com/dea…179

Fly with Ryanair from Luton (other airports are available at the same price just check) 11th May - Girona
Fly home 18th May

Total cost for 2 adults and 2 children = £48 (to get this price you will need to take hand luggage only and use the prepay card to pay)

Accomodation - Eurocamp Internacional de Calonge Staying in a 5 person tent

7 night stay in luxury tent - £119
I know what you are thinking TENT??? but these are great they have bedrooms with proper beds and a living area. OR if tent really is too much then you can have a mobile home for £18 more per person (£72 in total)

£48 + £119 = £167 FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY or £41.75 each

With Ryanair everyone gets 10kg of free cabin baggage which if you use it cleverly will be ample for this holiday which means no extra baggage costs.

its a real bargain great find !!

There are lots of different parcs available at or around this cost - also lots of airports at this cost so have a little play around until you find a destination you like

Water is freezing in may,but if I will add some heat for the price, water could be warmer

I think I replied last year , this camp is great with a big wooden bridge over the main road that leads directly onto a lovely sheltered beach. Everyone speaks English and are really friendly.
The caravans are all on little shelves with trees for shelter from the sun. They all have a patio area and barbeque with outdoor furniture. They were very well equipped (English made) with fire extinguishers, and safety features to U.K. spec.
Heat as there will be plenty there!!
I got this through sun holidays and added a ryanair flight but you really need a car to make the most of this.

I'am still missing Tossa de mar

We went the 2 years ago and its was good, so i completly agree with your review.

The only problem if you don't drive (we did) is that the shop on site isn't that good, but there is a lidl and aldi about 5-10 mins drive from there.

It looks so good Can anyone advise on best way to transfer to the camp? I.e taxi, car hire from airport, our own car on ferry? Thank you

excellent deals OP, I've had a good look at the site and they are soooo cheap for Paris, so Disney land Paris is looking cheaper then it was last year, so far accom is only £209 ( June) for 7 days in a 2 bed van, on the main metro route to the theme park too. The side itself is amazing too
eurocamp.co.uk/ind…r=1

took a bit of googling to find out how close they are to the theme park.

Come on though get real, hand luggage only for 7 days in the sun...

It avoids the planned strikes as the dates for May are as follows:

May 2,14,15,19 and 20,

Easily - have you seen the size of those bags? What do you really need? You can always wear 4 pairs of pants and socks on the plane

Good price but no go for me with Uni deadlines.

What happens if your flight back on the 18th is delayed until the 19th ;-) Seems a bit too close for comfort esp when they have said the Low Fair airlines are most at risk from it!

Like I have said - there are plenty of dates available for this price - if you are worried pick another

Yes, Canaries will be affected but that is if they actualy strike!!

youtube.com/wat…D58 this might help the worried about hand luggage crew.

I'm going to Centre Parcs next week for 5 days and that cost bloody £400! lol.

This is a cracking find fair play, would love to try and fit one in at some point, definitely keeping an eye out for next year!

Can I go with my mates ? 4 adults for that price?

No, not at all but how can it be advertised as a family holiday if you can't take the kids!
Fair enough if your kids are under school age.

Original Poster

I can call it a family holiday because it is a family holiday 2 adults and 2 children - not everyone has children of school age - mine are 3 and 0 - also some people are happy to take children out of school.

Like I said in my first post this won't suit everyone but for those it does its a bargain

Just a **** we can't drive

Beautiful part of the world. Stunning scenery, fantastic beaches and the weather will be fine, if not that hot at night.

Heat added

thanks

I work for Eurocamp over the summer!

They are a great holiday provider, may not be for everyone but if you want a relaxing, cheaper holiday in the sun, then I highly recommend. I haven't (yet) been to that campsite!
