Will they ask for proof of RAC membership when checking in?

We've stayed a couple of times and they've not asked for it when we have been there.

Plus this link offers one thousand priority club points free on your first stay.

I can see the 2 for 1 offers but whenever I try to book one it shows the price without the 2 for 1 being applied, checked some London hotels and despite saying £90 a night and showing the 2 for 1 rate it shows the total price as about £300 with an extra person charge of £45 per night applied as well (searched for rooms for 2 adults and 2 kids cos it says 2 kids up to 18 can stay free). Hmmmm

give in. voting this cold.

it does not work at all hotels all dates some hotels never do this rate.

the 2-4-1 is on best flexible, not the best rate.

You must only put in 2 nights.

working on some Glasgow hotels for the end of the month

its only uk and europe

UUnfortuately doesnt work for any London Hotels, only 35% off

great deal

If only I saw this yesterday before I booked a night at a Holiday Inn

Heated.

It says 2 for 1 at 75 euros a night, and then asks for 150 for 2 nights and the credit card info.

If I continue booking what will I pay?

I've found it difficult to find anything with 2 for 1. Keeps telling me not available. More success with the 35% off though.

Im looking for 2 nights in Paris, 75 euros is a bargain, 150 is meh.

The rate per night shown is the rate you'll pay each night on 2 for 1. So an £80 room will show as £40 a night. In the rate details though it would show as £80 for first night and £0 for second night - same difference. Not all hotels will have 2 for 1 availability though, and some hotels will show somewhere inbetween full price and 2 for 1.

Agreed their booking system is pants. You have to work out what its doing to the cost because it doesn't tell you until you checkout. By which point its too late anyway!

same as booking.com

this has been on for months

Thanks for the info. Managed to book my usual christmas market trip to manchester at a much cheaper cost. More money for booze!

This offer is on all of the time, just type in 'green room' into Google and it will take you to the relevant booking page for the discount. 2 for 1 is probably the best deal button it's will charge you one nights full rate and not listed rate. I'm a club card member and even with the 35per cent discount, I've found the same hotel stay cheaper on the likes of lastminute.com so it still pays to check other websites when searching. Even though the ihg website states its the cheapest price.

The prices shown for 2-4-1 offers will always be per night with the discount already applied.

Exclusive rates are 35% off the flexible rate and payed between the time of booking and arrival and are room only unless Listed i.e. HI EX, Staybridge etc.
