'Tis a fine pie I tell thee. And I should know being Wiganer who eats pie for breakfast, dinner and tea. I also put them through the liquidizer with a healthy spalsh of Vodka and a touch of BlueBols to make a lush cocktail. Nom nom nom nom.

Anyroad, 50p for a Hollands Meat n Prater pie is cracking. 85p in tesco and 89p at Sainsburys.

MADE IN LANCASHIRE SINCE 1851. PROPER PIES AND PUDS. A mixture of DICED POTATO, BEEF & SEASONING all in a right DELICIOUS SHORTCRUST PASTRY. When you want a proper pie for a right good meal - deep filled and full of chunky ingredients wrapped up in unique tasty shortcrust pastry, we know you choose Holland's. We're the best chippy pie around, cos we still make all our pies with the same proper ingredients we have for the last 150 years! No one makes pies like we do.

Too much vodka and not enough pie if you ask me Wedgie

A Sint'elliner mesen andywedge, but still fond of a reet good pie! Hot from me!

Cold. Not a meat & potato pie, but a POTATO & meat pie. Eurocrats rightly say product name should indicate ingredients used in order with highest percentage first. There is hardly any meat in these horrible pies, just mostly potato. Come north for the King of pies- the scotch pie, the cornerstone of any balanced diet.

Thanks for the morning laughs, nice when you get an unexpected smile moment.

I used to love Morrisons Chunky Steak pies but last time I bought them they were only half full.
They should have renamed them Chunky Air and Steak pies ;-(

Heat applied, I do not like a cold pie.
