Expensive mistake
Well where do I start. These appeared to be good value compared to the reformed ones and you would think healthier for the dog. However after a £2700 vet bill these turned out to be terrible value and not healthy. Because these are natural there is cartilage etc still attached. My dog had his first one and a piece of cartilage about the size of a 50p coin come off which he swallowed. This got stuck in his oesophagus and needed emergency vet intervention. Luckily he has not suffered any long term damage. I purchase 6 bones and the other 5 have gone in the bin. I could have gifted them to a dog charity but couldn't accept the risk on my conscience that I could put other dogs in harms way

I've had issues with my dog over natural bones. It built up in his stomach and split and pierced his intestine and bowel. Had to have an operation to clear it and we almost lost him. The vet says no bones in any way shape or form are suitable for dogs. They can't digest them.
You would be better with a raw bone from your butchers than buying these!
