Suppressing the urge to purchase as it's on its way to the Switch and side scrolling platformers are oh so perfect for handheld systems. Heat though.

Is it really such a tough choice of paying £7.25 to play now or ca. £32 to play on the Switch at an unspecified date in the future? That's a lot to pay for the sake of just being able to play it on a handheld.

It is the same for Rime on Switch. £10 now on PC or 4 times more for Switch.

You must be living in an alternate universe where video games remain at their launch pricepoint indefinitely, Scotty Boy^
Genuine GotY contender here, right up there with Horizon and Zelda - if you have even the slightest liking for the genre, you owe it to yourself to buy this.

Notably, the timing of this price drop is to coincide with the release of the game's first (free) DLC package.

My plan is to buy it twice... the devs deserve it for this game!

The Steam version could be played on one of these I suppose- though it has to be said that controller solution looks a touch inelegant.

I'm afraid not.
Tried this a while ago on my mac, was unable to lower the resolution (to make it run smoother on my old mac) wonder if they fixed that

There are resolution options from 720p upwards. You can also turn down particle effects to help with performance.

I meant like 1024x768 etc. It was set to super high (2560x1080 or something) and was stuck like that so turning down other settings didn't help much

1920x1080, perhaps? That's standard "1080p". 2560x1080 would be a "superwide" resolution (21:9) - do you have a monitor that fits with that?

I have the following resolution options available:
1280x720 ("720p")
1360x768
1366x768
1600x900 ("900p")
1920x1080 ("1080p")

Yeah could be sorry, I don't usually play on my laptop. So you are on a mac and you can change your resolution right? If so I may buy this and try again

Ah yes okay, I know you can do that on pc but there was a bug on mac that you couldn't change resolution. Thanks anyway!
I so want this - and Dead Cells - to come to PS4 & Vita.
Great game. They underpriced it at 10.99 could have easily sold this for 20.

It doesn't quite hold 60fps on an i5 Surface Pro 4. I'm not sure how well it would run on the Linx.
