For anyone who doesn't have Prime account, same price at Euro Car parts.

I wouldn't use those discs to sand the lenses, use wet and dry 2500 grit and then 3000 grit before using the polish with the pad on the drill, then the sealant. 800 to 1500 grit is harsher than needed on headlight lenses

    What he says^^.

I followed the instructions and used 800 far to coarse absolute ripped my lens apart, took a while to get to an acceptable level, still not right. Don't use the 800 or 1500..... And tbh.

They looks terrible without the sealant but the sealant is like an oily lacquer. Makes the lens look great but one touch or wipe even a week later ruins it. And you only get a small amount. So I'm stuck with scratchy lenses unless sealant applied but I'm nearly out.

Thanks OP but save the effort. If you want the real deal, just use dot 3 or dot4 brake fluid on a cloth. Making sure you don't get it on your paint work. (edited)

T-cut and lots of polishing. It’s a once every year job, but think it’s the same for all the kits anyway, nothing stops the sun aging process

I've used this before and it did a good job. But need to keep up with applying the lacquer and even then it doesn't take long for UV to do it's thing again.

can this be used on "plastic" glass headlights?

I dont why I'm saying glass when it's not.

Yes, it's mostly plastic lenses that are so prone to clouding

I done mine the other day with tcut, then autoglym resin polish (red label), then the autoglym finish polish (gold label). They went from very yellow and dull looking to looking like new.

Great, so does the gold label act as a protective sealant?

I think for what you're getting there - ie, the buff drill fitment, pads, cloths, solutions, thats really good value.

I've used the 3M kit which looks similar and it achieved excellent results with only a little effort.

I got this 2yrs ago after MOT advisory. It was a couple of quid more from eurocareparts, but did the job. I could have been more aggressive with the sanding process. You should easily be able to do both lenses and repeat again after 12 months. The Velcro pad does peel from use.

I bought this when it was £13.99 and made a total hash of it. Then i found out a local detailer would do it for £25 and they did a brilliant job.
