Not true.
Nope, they can replace the gummed up valve with a fresh one.

Pretty sure that used to be true, but for Tyreweld at least, is definitely not the case now.

i would really like some experts that might be on here that do tyres for a living and give an honest answer if these are ok for emergency use or not-cos that is all they are designed for,and if it gets you out of trouble its done its job

As for as my experience, tyreweld is not useful for nail puncture. It didn't seal the puncture.

Hi, Thanks for the info. Might get one now. It's probably more like they can't be bothered to clean it out. I am aware that a lot of 'punctures' are not legally repairable. Side walls and a certain distance from the side wall, etc.
I'd just like to point out that this is for small/medium tyres which is up to 16 inch wheels, see the can.

As for punctures, I've had three over the last ten years or so and my regular tyre dealer ruled that they were all unrepairable and they showed me why. I think I was just unlucky. Not had a puncture for ages. Oh oh, jinxed myself.

PS I have the Tyreweld larger size in my car. My Peugeot supplied one was out-of-date and when I tested the accompanying pump, it was dead. Also, for interest, you don't have to have a manufacturer's puncture repair kit to pass an MOT.

There are products on the market that are not a temporary repair. Kraft (Germany) is one.
Out of stock:(

It can be repaired after using this, however it must be cleaned so most tyre places will refuse.
Avoid using this rubbish at any cost, you will not able to repair the tyre afterwards. they will not mention this. just pump the air at nearest station and get to tyreshop for puncture repair. or keep puncture repair kit with you under the seat.
