Been a while since I bought some but sure it was more like £6 a few years ago

Handy to have I suppose. Especially if like me there is no spare in the boot!

I bet it doesn't

"this stuff does more damage then (sic) running on a flat tyre" duh! Do tell how you steer and brake safely with a flat tyre.A new wheel also costs far more than a new tyre. Let us know where you are so we can all avoid you.

Some tyre places won't put a new tyre on if you have used this.

Cheapest I've ever seen it.

This was in the Lancaster branch of sainsburys but wasn't a promo just normal white sticker price so would think nationwide.

Admittedly this won't solve all problems and may very well not be the best solution but in a pinch and for 99p it's worth having one in the boot I think

Urban legend! Good stuff for an emergency and I have used a couple of times without a problem getting new tyres after

When will HUKD introduce the t*** button!

Seems it's not an Urban legend some just don't want to do it.

On the side of the can it says that the repairing tyre people may add a surcharge for removing the tyreweld to repair the tyre.

In reality, i called around half a dozen local places when i had used it and none of them would offer that service. Ever since then i have carried a spare as i dont want each puncture to cost me 100 for a new tyre.

Spare wheel always the best idea,run-flats second and third is this stuff and in another galazy inhabited by fools is driving on the flat tyre, risking your life, other peoples lives and getting yourself a bill for a tyre and wheel if you survive.

Bargain, hope my local branch have some left!

That's amazing, heated added

It annoys me the number of cars that don't have space for a spare wheel, never mind the wheel itself.

Most punctures can be fixed for about a tenner, but once you've used this stuff you'll almost certainly need a new tyre and valve, and the possible extra fee for cleaning up the inside of the wheel.

However, it's a good price if you want to risk not having the spare wheel or can't fit one.

Just had to get a new tyre today. Fitter said if you use this stuff they won't be able to repair your tyre. Far better putting the spare on if the tyre can be fixed

Save your money and put it towards a proper spare wheel. Pity the person that relies on this (or any other) can of gloop in event of a puncture to keep them mobile. It is scandalous that manufacturers are allowed to sell cars without a spare wheel.

most breakdown companies will recover the car and occupants to the nearest tyre depot if no spare.

Even National garages who are advertised on the cans of this won't repair a tyre after this stuff is used so be warned unless you can't replace the wheel with a spare or get enough air in to get you to a garage to fix the repair then this would be my absolute last resort as this 99p can will cost you the price of a new tyre

how long will u be saving your 99p for to get a new tyre lol!

Tyre repairs can only be made if the puncture is in the top third of the tyre. In the side or shoulder then it cannot be used again. If you do not have a spare or if you do not pay for a recovery service this stuff is useful.

Got smart car. No spare wheel and different size tyres on front and back so don't have a choice. Heat.
