Good price but this stuff is nasty - just remember if you do use it then your tyre is screwed it can't be repaired. Just something to bear in mind.

Nice deal, shame nearest stock for me is 27 miles away in Gravesend.....

Have some heat all the same.

Question:Can a tyre be repaired after the use of Holts Tyreweld? … Question:Can a tyre be repaired after the use of Holts Tyreweld? Answer:Yes. Should the tyre be safe to repair, Holts Tyreweld can be flushed out of the tyre. Always follow the advice of the Tyre repairer.

Beware NOT ALL tyre repairers will repair tyres that have used Tyrewell,
This is a good price specially for the Smart car driver, which doesn't carry a spare wheel

Not much of a choice for me.....no spare tyre on the car, get you going repair kit the only option.

there's more chance your suspension going before a puncture...bloody speed humps and potholes !

all you need is a old socket piece you can hammer on and it will remove the locking wheel nut

I think you'll find that the word "speed" in speed humps is a deterrent, not an order.

Ideal for keeping in a trailer, no need for a spare and will get you home

good for wheelbarrows,

how long do these keep for?

Now i know who it was that left my aston on bricks without the wheels!

Thaks for the share - good for emergencies.

Just remember that these only work for a small puncture, have a blowout on the motorway and this stuff will just go out the same big hole!

Do you think this would be ok to use for repairing bicycle inner tubes? Would make it a convenient on the road solution....

You'll have more to worry about when you're upside down in a ditch on the side of the road than trying to repair a big hole in your tyre :whistling:

anyone know?

also, how long before tyre deflates? Just wondering as thought it may be useful as I drive to an airport 3/4 times a year and could prove a lifesaver but not much use if tyre would be flat on my return.

i have had one before, made a right racket but managed to keep the car straight and slowly pull over, made a mess of my inner arch but none of this stuff would have helped.

Also had a mate knock his off the rim in a pothole which would have needed a spare!

Silent Phoenix, they actually make something like that for pushbikes, think it is called Slime!

I've used it, fixed my slow puncture about 6 months ago.....think it says on instruction should only be used as a temp fix......I chose to ignore that!

Do what I always do , buy a spare wheel from Ebay .

Plenty of steel spares brand new for most models , I buy the actual alloy with tyre & prices are usually sub £100 with tyre or sub £50 without .

I'd never use this system , it is absolute rubbish as you will never know the type of puncture & severity until the time comes , if it is too severe your screwed .

If you;ve used this and you start hearing strange noises from your suspension then it has all hardend in one place and put the wheel out of balance. (After you spend £100 replacing parts before you figure it out)

We are very sorry, but no UK store currently has all of the items you require in stock
