My main use is for geotagging photos and tracking trips. I prefer this one because you can chnage the configuration directly on the device without the need to connect it to a PC and run an application to chnage the configuration. This is useful when tracking trips that you want to change the data logging mode from time (say every 5 seconds) to logging on a set distance.

Maplin used to sell this for £129 which was too steep for me. The normal price is £79.99
but reduce until 24th Dec 2009 to £49.99.

get a garmin forerunner if it's for running

reviews of this seems very good

having a look at the specs off the holux website this is perfect for use even in the typical english weather

IPX-6 water proof as in the spec =

Protected against heavy seas - Water projected at all angles through a 12.5mm nozzle at a flow rate of 100 liters/min at a pressure of 100kN/m2 for 3 minutes from a distance of 3 meters.

so no worries about it getting bust when your out

Good find- got one ordered

Not relating to this particular product. I just returned a 20 day old faulty external hard drive to Maplin and the returns procedure was time consuming and rediculous. First they tried to claim that the drive was fine, then they want to send it to head office to get it checked and only afterwards about 10 days will they refund... so I am without drive or money now.

Never will I be buying from Maplins again. For hassle purchasing I can get alot better deals on Ebay.

Looks good for the money. Shame there's no blutooth for connecting to pc or phone with Tom Tom etc on.
