I paid £180 for a JLL branded version of this bike (the only difference I could spot is the seat connection) about 7 years ago, and it's been fantastic, with a small amount of maintenance it's lasted well (only issue is some rust where sweat has dripped on it, to be expected) and comes highly recommended, at £134 I think this is a steal.

    Good for losing weight?
Not sure how good this particular machine would be for that but if you can do at least 30 mins on this and get your heartrate up during that time then it's surely going to help.
I have a normal bike mounted on a smart trainer and do a 30 minute course on Rouvy 5 days a week and managed to lose 2 stone since last May.
Lots of people say they are good clothes horses but when you start to see results, even only little differences then it does motivate you to keep at it. After a while it becomes habit and your body nags you to have a session even if you don't feel like it.

Hi All, quick question, why does everyone want a heavy disc bike? I've seen 8kg, 10kg, 12kg, etc ones, so what makes this 18kg better than those? Many thanks.

After a while I expect the welds will crack where the frame is welded to the stand.
Had it happen on an Orbitrek years ago.
Cracked after a few months due to the lateral forces.

Don’t do it. You will regret your choice. And then when you try to sell it you’ll regret it even more. If your thinking you want to cycle, get a real one or better yet, join the gym
Depends how much time you have to exercise and commute time to a gym is. e.g. if you only have 20 minutes then this would be a good solution assuming it lasts.

18kg flywheel and belt drive, sounds like a great deal for this price.
Think there is probably a bit more to a good exercise bike than just a heavy fly wheel.

Is this suitable for someone over 6ft
I measured the top of the seat at full height, to the lower pedal, inline with the angle of the seat bar, and it is 90cm (edited)
