Excellent find, I work in for a big DIY chain and the cheapest CCTV we do is £19.99 - Just rang my local Lloyds Pharmacy to check they have got stocks, they said they had loads of them, Well done gopre!

Good find, and some nice leads to other deals on site too.

I had a look at these in the shop. On the back it says these are
B&W cameras. The resolution is 384 * 287 (John Logie Baird would be proud)
and they have 17m of cable to plug into your telly.

Doesnt really tell you much but I think its the camera on the right of this link

and it could also be this one

a house a few doors away had an attempted break in 2 nights ago and my other half has been a bit stressed since, so might have to get one of these to put his mind at rest.... nice find!

very good just bought the last one from my local Lloyds Pharmacy go quick thanks mate

Just bought one too - the incentive came as a result of someone breaking into my car a couple of nights ago on my driveway!

Does anyone know what adaptor I need to convert the red, yellow and white cables to a scart please so I can plug it into the back of my telly? I have seen something called a phono to scart connection, I'm not sure if this is the right thing.... Thanks

@daz1969

That's the adaptor you need. It looks just like a scart connector one end and on the other side of it there's three phono plugs (red, white and yellow).

Cheekster.

If you have one of the FlashTrax XT media player/recorders on sale at Staples a while back, you should be able to adapt the cables to make up a HDD camera recorder - you'll need some phono-phono adapters. I've tried something similar with a colour mini-cam from Ebay (the type advertised as spycam) and it works OK. The quality of the recording is not perfect but is adequte if you like tinkering....as I do.

Hope you find this useful.

Good post Gopre

And welcome to HotUKDeals mjaved and mucker.

thanks just got one to keep eye on son when he upstairs and hubby bought one as there is some ppl using our garden to get at next doors motorbike

even better i have found a use for the free tv that came with my empire order especially as used old code for £10 off and they sending yet another one "groan" hehe

can it be used behind a glass. thinking of mounting it in the front bedroom looking out. could imagine problems with reflection. then agaon it will only be used for night. otherwise need a long ladder to mount it outside.

Just to say that Lloyds still seem to be selling these at the £9.99 price.

Excellent, Thanks for that. I will get the OH to pop in on Saturday and get a couple as I missed the first post.

Anyone know of any software that I can use to record and play back?
