My thoughts exactly, and yeah it's hideous. Bit of an insult to Daleks really...
I have the Morphy Richards version and it looks fab
If I didn't love my old fashioned whistling kettle so much I'd be looking for one of these.
There's a reason it's reduced to clear... Wonder what that is? :/ :/ :/ Perhaps because it looks hideous?
I got the matching cheese grater

Terrible design when using to boil water for veg on a Sunday.
When you take the top off to refil the steam from the previous boil burns your hand unless you hold it awkwardly at the edge. And no, I don't fill kettles through the spout.

Stick to kettles with a side handle.

How many were on the shelf, after you took yours/looks like the last one?

Seems an odd reason to criticise it when this one like many others is designed to be filled by the spout, why wouldn't you?

Small spout. Big Tap?

Water pressure from tap damaging the filter?

Scale from the filter being forced back into the kettle?

This kettle was MADE for you.

Yeah it's fab and every time I fill it from the spout I wash out the filter, stops it dribbling lol ,

I just find it quicker from the top. 3 seconds as opposed to 10.

I'm not going to work out how much time can be saved in a lifetime, but feel free to. lol
actually it's 113.24 hours over 40 years. So let's say 4 and a half days wasted if you spout.
