Looks good to do those awkward to get to windows at the top of the stars.

Thank you. Heat added.
Not in my local, but found one on eBay. Thank you for reminding me to gt one though.

Off soon to do some spring cleaning on my day off.
Nice but none available near me
shame none local to me and P&P higher than actual item otherwise I would get, good deal for those that can get them

You might need an extension to reach the stars...
10 in stock at Hedge End Southampton if local to anyone
Many thanks ordered. Some left in st. Albans and Stevenage
I bought one of these last year, I am sorry to say absolutely useless as the metal pole once extended us far too thin and flexible so it cant put enough pressure on the moo end and doesn't clean. K needed up buying one's made for washing caravans with large brush and large diameter metal pole. The ones that extended to 3.5 meters are around £12.
Picked one up today, staff (Yvonne @ Bulwell) had a jobs worth attitude wouldn't let me collect it without photo ID even though I had the confirmation email on my phone. Had to cancel it then just pay cash, how they stay in business when they employ idiots like this i don't know

Did you pay by PayPal? co's its Paypal that insist on it, well they do with Screwfix as i always have to show photo id, its a bit of a pain for sure.
I might buy the 8 left in Haverfordwest and post them to everyone that wants one on this thread for just £2.95 instead of Wickes ludicrous £7.95... Anyone interested

You paid by Paypal then? It does seem a little OTT to me, but is clearly stated as their policy, so the staff don't really have much/any choice. I'd say it sounds like it was you that had the attitude and you owe someone an apology..

Yes and to be fair I hadn't realized this at the time, I did however show my face book page, the order number and a credit card as proof. Common sense these days sadly does not exist.

Ignorance is no defence etc. You're in the wrong because you hadn't checked or paid attention and got annoyed at a "jobsworth" who was just following his companies procedure and presumably could get into trouble if they didn't and must have felt quite awkward dealing with someone acting unreasonably and unnecessarily rude.

Showing your facebook page? lol, Why?

Showing your card may have been useful IF you'd actually paid with it, which you obviously hadn't, as per the requirements clearly stated in the confirmation email you'll have received:-

In future it may be worth checking what the requirements are before setting off and being more respectful to people who are just doing their job. Especially when it's you that was clearly in the wrong.

How do you know I was rude - I wasn't.
Showing your facebook page? lol, Why? - It had my picture on and Identified me with photo id as requested.
Showing the card - which was used to pay for the item in the end anyway.
In future - I will shop elsewhere which solves the problem.

Right or Wrong had nothing to do with it, the solution was simple cancel the order and pay by a different means. Not offered by the staff at the store.

I find it hard to believe you weren't rude as you're obviously still angry and arrogant enough to come on here and name the poor person in question, rant and call her an idiot etc, even though it was your mistake, not hers.

Maybe, if you'd said "oh, sorry, I didn't realise. Is there any way we can make it it work please?" instead of ranting and randomly showing her your facebook page, she'd have suggested it?

I didn't realise FB was considered valid photo ID now. Silly me. I'll remember that next time, I'm travelling and can't find my PP. Thanks for the tip!

She must have been thinking "why is this idiot showing me his facebook page?" and getting a bit embarrassed on your behalf.

LOL Depends what stars.
Cheers
I picked one of these up the other day, reaches 1st floor windows fine, and was sturdy enough for me
I can see why if fully extended that the pole may become too flimsy for anything higher, but for ground + 1st floor windows it was brilliant
