I have one of these, bought about a year ago in Quality Save (Home Bargains). Desperate for another, had a look today but nothing. Any sign of these?
what a weird gadget!
I went back to buy more but they are currently out of stock in Wythenshawe. However, the helpful staff lady did say they were due more in any day now.
Just been and got the 26", 28" and griddle from Wrexham store.. they have still got plenty of 30", griddles and 28" pans left and only a couple of 26", however they don't seem to have the sets for anyone in the area
None in my local store :-(
Home Bargains are a work of genius - a place that lives up to its name. Unlike superdrug..
Just moved home last month and bought a 7 piece set for £49, but went and got the griddle 26" and 28" frying one for 3.99 each today anyway cause too good to pass up! Thanks :)
I first thought I had missed the chance to buy one, but I went into Home Bargains yesterday and actually found some! Thanks a lot.
Is that a major disadvantage if you can't pick one of these up for this price?
Anyone buy one of these for me? I don't mind paying a tenner over the odds. Thanks
Just been and picked one up and it is the £149.99 one from argos. Permatech . Great price.
The ones on ebay are not permanent filters for the same price. They have the replaceable filters. If home bargains have the permatech ones at £39.99 then this is a bargain. Just rang my local store and they have them in at £39.99 so voted hot hot hot.
Play sell a rotor repair kit for £3.99. You get 1 x Main Rotor with stabiliser and 3 x Rear rotors if anyone is interested. http://www.play.com/Gadgets/Gadgets/4-/3349234/Micro-Helicopter-Rotor-Repair-Kit/Product.html
took mine back cus the main roter broke, also it was hard to fly...harder then my Pico Z one which is still going strong after many crashes and with a vibrating rotor..lol
well i started with the original picoz last year i got it for xmas and cost it around £30 at the timem the propeller weight fell off while flying upside down, found best way to fly them is by putting a drawing pin on the nose of the copter, its brilliant to fly about then, ive had a couple bigger copters since smashed one seriously as annoyin the hell out of the neighbours with my new one thats about half a meter long and powerful lol.
There was a documentary on these remote helicopters on French TV last week and it was found that these ones don't comply to the EU health and safety regulations. There is a part which isn't soldered in these models that prevent them to burn and melt. The tests showed that the Pico Z models (on which these models were copied on) were safe.
Crashed mine hundreds of times still going strong well it seems to have destablised now though, these aren't worth more than £5.00 great money spinner for the companies involved though and great fun too, if only they made the tail rotor a bit stronger.
Got my 2 delivered today..not tasted it yet...gonna save it for the day after Boxing Day when I get back to the gym...there'll be no stopping me....:w00t::roll::w00t::whistling:
Still waiting for either of my two freebies. Saw this offer in HB's last week but had too many bags full of Xmas shopping with me to pick another crate up. Btw. I think it's 10p a bottle not 12p, of course you save 20p by buying a crate of 12 though.
picked up 2 packs from home bargains Coventry Came up as 2 for £1.80 i.e 7.5p each!! BARGAIN !! THANKS OP
My freebies arrived today too. Been drinking them all day...............I'm a bit hyper.:-D
i got my free ones today aswell taste fine to me and actually making my feel better as i was violently sick all morning, dam JD lol XD , but more surprising was 12 free and delivered by parcel foce 48 to Northern Ireland, musta cost em a bit even the driver new what it was as he got himself them aswell and had delivered around 40 of them locally today lol.
Got mine last year from a charity shop for 50p! Didn't think I'd like it much, but was pleasantly surprised... some of the recipes are really quite good - tried them out last Christmas.
Bought one of these today, and they are fantastic for the money, a really good present to buy for a niece/ friends daughter etc as it looks deceptively expensive! voted hot
Thanks for the info. Will have a look next time i'm in. Keep both boys happy, lol:thumbsup:
My nearest store is Northampton, 68.5 miles away!! D*amn. Voted hot, as this is a fantastic price. If you wanted another handheld they sometimes have them in TKMax for around £7.99 (£24.99 in Toys r Us).
yes this deal is instore only.
YOu have to go in store
Maybe it's just me - but I can't find this item when I follow the link? What category does it come under? There isn't a search facility. Also, do they deliver? Sorry if this seems dense but I just can't find the item & it would make a nice little stocking filler for a few relatives..... ;-)
Havent got a store near me unfortunately
9.99 in mine
All of them were the same price in my local store - maybe they didnt realise the harry potter one was supposed to be more expensive!
I've actually been in today (i work right next to ours :) ) they have regular scene it for £7.99, but the HP one is definitely £9.99 in Sunderland hth vicky
My local home bargains has had this (with a few other scene it games) for £7.99
Got the 84 piece set for £3.99 at Sheffield today, as they'd none of the smaller pack. There were some Supermag 35 piece sets at £1.99 that apparently glow in the dark, and for £7.99 you can make your own moving Ferrari F1 car out of Supermag...looked quite good too (about a foot long). They also had Lord of The Rings Trilogy Trivial Pursuit DVD game for £3.99 there, which could be entertaining on Christmas Night :)
thanks, got one today in Home Bargains, 86 piece set for £3.99 for my 11 year old god-daughter.:santa:
They had these in the Bridgend store too.
Bargain wish I had one of these stores near me....;(
Only if you consider Northampton to be close... :-(
too far for me ... good deals tho.
Nice price..just a shame you can't buy it online for that price
They often have bratz stuff cheap :) Its a great store!

Well I managed to get one this morning, so I just wanted to say a BIG thank you, edjaned! The shelf was empty & the SA told me that they were out of stock. However, another SA overheard & came out the storeroom with one. It had been reserved for a customer who hadn't turned up yesterday to pick it up! I was well chuffed lol! I also picked up some other bargains so thank you for introducing me to the world of Home Bargains :-D
im sure u will,i live in home bargains!thanks 4 the extra info
Yeah I'll definitely give them a call in the morning, thanks. The leapster games do work on the l-max but some of them don't work if the console is plugged in to the TV. The l-max games all work on the leapster or leapster tv. Hopefully I'll pick up some other bargains too!
Hi Hayley. I added ] in-store @ Home Bargains to the thread title. Welcome to HUKD !
Yep, that's the one.
Not sure if it is the exact same set but I found a review of the game system Here: ]http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/12/12261.phtml
Thanks, first of many bargains I hope!
Welcome to HUKD crooster :)
i got this last year at BHS when they were giving them away free, it's still in the wrap! Thanks for the reminder!
just bought one from Post Office in Bolton - 69p - cant stand the cheeky chirpy little runt personally but the g/f likes him. She can sit and listen to the silly man whilst I make dinner - no doubt she'll get some ideas for me to cook whilst she offers to help from the settee!! :santa:
Says my nearest store is 67.2 miles away, you Northerners get all the bargains :-(
A fellow HUKD member goes home bargains in Doncaster like me :D I go to stock up on Sprite 3G for 39p a can lol, and an even cheaper energy drink for 19p a can lol.
If it helps anyone there are 4 stores in South Wales at Newport, Barry, Caerphilly and Bridgend. Not sure if Bridgend one is open yet but it wasn't last week.
i got loads of genuine star wars stuff for a fraction of the price last yr for my son. You just have to be lucky and go in at the right time
I got mine at the Hillsborough shopping centre branch, the assistant said they had lots in stock, although I only saw three out on display...
 How about a disposable camera and photo book? He can take pics of the baby, makes kids feel involved with the baby without actually having to touch it! Then when other people come he can show them his photos! Have seen this work well in the past with kids from about 2
I went out to the Sheffield branch at midday and they'd already sold out! Lots of HUKD'ers in Sheffers then! :)
I checked the Homebargains storefinder and phoned up our nearest store - they didn't have it in stock, but they did at a branch further away, went and got one - our toddler had a happy afternoon playing in it. Bargain value!
Asda currently have 100 ball packs for £2.49
these are a bargain, there is one in my town so i will check in on saturday. i need these for my ipod speakers. great find thanks
Yep, it clearly says on the batteries Alkaline-0% mercury. hope this helps, thanks for the hot votes folks! ;-)
Even the woman on the till commented that they were a bargain! Thinking of feeding her rabbit?
The post was quoting 'AAA' not 'AA' which you can always pick up cheaply. AAA are always harder to find and usually more expensive too
D A M N I aint going 86 miles to get some AAA lol
picked up mine earlier probably worth the £19.99 deffo nothing like £120 as the OP said cheers anyway OP
 your funny!!! Doh - I meant "reserved"
An mine told me that she was an only child - you just cant trust those endangered species  I think that mine will sent packing off to munch bamboo somewhere soon... I quite fancy having a penguin ....no sick jokes please :whistling:
I didn't know you could drive them? :w00t:
Looks good, only problem is I find that home bargains dont supply the same stock to all the shops, will look out for this though
Shame theres not a store in Kent/London/Essex regions :-( Had to settle with the 2x 10 pack from Tesco for £5 Hot Deal though
I've never seen a drink called Cola Coca... :-) Maybe an admin can clean it up. NG.
i take it this is in store...................................(:
had none at newcastle stoke yet just gave me a blank look said had no stock yet:x
I loved this place when I was in Stoke On Trent. Sadly, their barghainous status does not stretch to Bristol. This is made worse by the fact I am pregnany and craving fizzy drinks, ginger beer being one of my favourites. And this stuff is 60p a can at the corner shop... :?
home bargains is the snizzle it passed many a lunch hour buying some low priced sweets (or u2 books - spiders!)
Looked out for this is the Preston store and none to be see.
aye wish we could get it up here at that price old jamiaca is good ginger beer hot but sad i cant get it up here :(
just got one from longton stoke on trent got loads
the donation to charity is actually given from the money the retailer pays to get the stock so in fact its not low at all its amazingly charitable on there part to sell them so cheap !
Fwiw, I believe the original RRP was £15.99 and I agree completely it was too expensive to begine with.
The way I see it is I doubt any money will be going to the Tsunami but by being able to clear excess stock through these cheap shop chains then the 'all DVD profits' donated to the Tsunami total won't be decreased by the calculation of produced but unsold stock left. Although I recommend giving money to UNICEF too. I think the DVD organisers should have sold it for less money originally (all the clips have been donated free), then they wouldn't have this excess stock to clear and made more money. The recent comic relief DVD was only £5 - great strategy, loads of people bought it. Some of the Amazon reviews are a bit off putting together with the one which says the price is £9.99 with £7.99 going to charity but the Amazon price is £12.99 you feel that Amazon maybe profiteering especially when they sell the Comic Relief one for the RRP of £5.
You had to go and mention another Northen chain that makes me feel like moving to the North to get all these deals. I want 'Home Bargains', B&M [Bargain Madness] and (not just Northen) 'Poundland', '99p stores' all in my area when I see these deals.
Good price IanPar :)
I find that stuff in home bargains is generally only in one or two stores. They get the end of stock and therefore not much of it, so it just gets sent to one shop. I was in there today and got some great stuff, didnt see either of those though.
my son would love the figures but they sell out of things really quickly, I bet if I go tomorrow they won't have any left. I shall try tho, thanx for the posting
No shops down south. Maybe you should have said in your posting? Instead of getting me all excited.
[image missing] Moving image here as they don't work in the front page :)
 Your a star Knewbold!
thats good usage bazr!!! well done kim you have PM
Broken nose!!!!!!......Spiders!!!......to coin a phrase.:giggle:
I would love this book....but I dont live anywhere near the stores... Anyone willing to send me a copy?? Kim:|
my team came 3rd so it wasnt that bad i play in goal and i had the shakes pretty bad to be honest (also might have broken my nose) i finished my xmas shopping after the work do - i managed to use quidco whist under the influence and even managed to use a few vouchers at M+S had problems typing the card number in incorrectly though
has anyone got any xbox controllers left? pm me if you are selling them. i only need one
It was two weeks ago when I managed to get hold of some. Only the larger stores had delivery of stock and I had to drive and phone around about 5 stores before I found a store who had them. Good Luck.
Are these still in store? Im thinking of doing the rounds sometime this week to pick some up.
Hi brum, you have private message. Could you sell 2 or 1 to me?...
i have 4 controllers with head sets, i have used the subs, so if you are after the controllers and head sets, then yes i have spare ones for sale. you can have all 4 for £10, plus p&p
