Homebase - In store only - Dirt cheap wrapping paper etc...

Just a quick post to say that my local Homebase was selling off quite a few things cheaply in their usual 'almost Christmas' way.

What did catch my eye though was good quality foil wrapping at just 10p per 3m roll.

It's the sort of stuff that would easily be £1.99 in most stores, and they had loads of it.

Because a lot of it was just single coloured it would be fine for non-Christmas use.

Obviously it's not worth making a special trip for, but if you're near a branch it's worth a look.

The other thing I bought was "Christmas in a Bag". A small Christmas tree complete with decorations, lights and a stand. Reduced to just £2 from a tenner.

Again, not a big deal but quite a laugh for a child's bedroom perhaps.

Hot/Cold, I really don't care, but the wrapping is especially good value and of use to many people.

The Homebase Christmas sale has already been posted sorry which is why this will probably get cold as they have some excellent deals otherwise.

Also, a lot of the sale items have been individually posted too.

Fair enough, but an extra little pointer to that fabulously cheap wrapping paper isn't a bad thing.

i missed the other homebase post so heat added

yeah other day spent 900 on lights, made a huge profit doing this last year

spent another 600 in there today

very little left in Lewes store - certainly no wrapping paper which was a shame!

Went to our local one in Reading and it was pretty much cleared out. picked up some cards for next year and the rest looked like just left over or slightly damaged tat.

wonkydonky

You've spent 1500 pounds on lights? And you've also made a profit?.. Okay...
