Can anyone confirm that if I buy this, I'll get the birds?
I'll send some over from my garden. I need a break from the screeching parakeets
Great item and price although it doesn't state if it's frost resistant? Wouldn't want it to crack if the water freezes in winter.

You're gonna need a few nuts and seeds in addition just to getting them wet if you want birds to come.
Good find but not in stock for me.Heat.

Shame. It's really pretty, too, in blue. If I had more space in my tiny garden, I would certainly get one.

It says on the product details "We suggest storing the bird bath inside during periods of frost and snow". Maybe in the cold winter months you can put a filled water bowl on top of the stand? The birds would still have a bath, just plastic surrounded. I am sure they wouldn't mind.

Depends if they identify as birds or not I suppose
The other bird baths state ' Exterior use' but this blue one does not. The fact it states 'We suggest storing the bird bath inside during periods of frost and snow' means that I would guess it is not frost proof terracotta. Hence it could crack if left outside in cold weather - probably why it is reduced in price. Okay if you remember to pack the whole thing away in the shed etc when summer is over.

I don't think it was reduced because of the way it is made, surely it was the same before. Maybe a discontinued product. And yes, we all have to remember things when the weather changes. Quite normal and not out of the extraordinary.
Awesome thanks
I use an ornamental stone bird bath that can see up 10 sparrows in it at a time. Birds are quite particular so I do wonder if they would use a brightly coloured blue bath. Anyone got one in use ?.
A puddle works for me 👌

Good advice !...………....At the first sign of freezing I replace the stone top of by bird bath with a shallow plastic bowl...……….the blackbirds don't mind in the least ……..in fact they seem to prefer it !

Yes, bright, reflective surfaces scare birds. They might not take to this birdbath. I'd hold on for an unpainted sand stone or concrete birdbath.

You will but you can only look at them, they may scatter when you approach.
