Hi

First posting and I got the Homedics massager with heat delivered today, it is an absolute pleasure and and absolute bargain for this price!

The Homedics massager with heat from additions direct is on sale now for 74 pounds instead of 149. To get another 30 pounds discount use the following promotion code: ZG754

In the end, I payed in total 46.37, next cheapest I could find was at amazon for 90 pounds
amazon.co.uk/HoM…1-1

Model no: SBM-300H-3GB. Shiatsu plus rolling massage and soothing heat travel up and down the back. Soothing heat relaxes tired muscles. Programmable control with 5 programs. Width control to custom fit your body. Melts away tension, muscle pain and fatigue. Easily fits most chairs.

Yes it is from Additions Direct, but why the cold votes without your reasons? Even if you don't get the code to knock a further £30 off, this is still really cheap at £74!

Hot from me, even if sometimes they can be unreliable with codes. But it's still cheaper than anywhere else even without the code.

Hot from me - a good price even without the code.

that does not sound good, how could they reclaim the money if they approved the code? On my online transaction history with additions direct it says something like this here:

20/06/09 PK0291J Homedics Sbm-300h-3gb Massager W 72.42
20/06/09 TO BE CHARGED TO MASTERCARD ON DESPATCH 72.42
20/06/09 Promotional Discount 30.00 CR
20/06/09 REFUND TO MASTERCARD 30.00 CR
20/06/09 XX002 Post And Packing 3.95
20/06/09 TO BE CHARGED TO MASTERCARD ON DESPATCH 3.95

Hope I (and all the others that will order) get the discount!

On a complete other note: Does anyone know the health implications of the item? Can I use it every day, if so, how many minutes maximum? I guess all the vibration that is going through the spine cant be that good for the brain. Any comments on this issue?

Looking at these 2 lines it's been refunded, but according to some on here, they've had money claimed back upto 6 months after they've received the goods once the company realises you shouldn't have used the code. Only use a code if you think the deal is good enough if the code doesn't work. This deal you've found is still worth having mate.

Good Spot

To be honest, my friend has got the full leather chair version of this and I had a go and my back felt like I'd been 12 rounds with Tyson!! My advice is take it really easy for the first couple of weeks, get used to it.

You're right, it's more like someone sticking their thumbs in your back and rotating them up and down.

It is a machine, so obviously there will be some vibration transferred through the spine to your brain if it is just massaging your spine. But the two modes you could actually use are either shiatsu or rolling.

This is what I found on moneysavingsexpert.com concerning the promotion code:

For new customers, ZG754 for £30 off a £60 spend. Expires 31.8.09. Some have reported it not working but it was sent out over last few days so is current.

Hi all had a letter off additions direct

We'd hate you to miss out: just place your first order for 60 or more and quote code ZG754 when you call or at the online checkout and you'll save 30! its as simple as that.

Fingers crossed, that it worked!

I really love it and I could sit on it the whole evening when watching TV. Will see my Physio tomorrow, I do not think that he will be perfectly happy with my last purchase

How do you pronounce this intersteingly named brand?

Ho- medics or Home-dics ?

Well I've just took the plunge and also told my brother-in-law, who's going to buy one tonight. The code went through OK, but not bothered if in the future I have to pay the £30, as the price of £74 is still good.

Tip for anyone buying, don't do what I did and forget to put it through Quidco, I could have earned another few quid off, as it's 8%!!! Damn!!!

This is currently £56 inc at Costco if you have access.

Great item, picked one up for my friend and it does actually give you a good massage and the heat is very relaxing. I recommend it at £56 but at £47 it is a bargain!

People aways come up with this Littlewoods/Additions claim it back thing. Never happened to me, nor anyone else I've tipped off and passed the codes on to. I think you'd have to be seriously unlucky or do something stupid to alert them.

Charged me the 46 pounds so far on my credit card. We will see if they will reclaim the money in the future!
