Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force.

A living, breathing, open world responds to your actions - you and your Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight.

But your enemy has the advantage - superior technology, firepower, heavy armour and air support. You must learn the art of guerrilla warfare – ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception – and fight a running battle through the war-ravaged suburbs of Philadelphia.

And the single player campaign is just the start – in Co-Op you and your friends can form your own Resistance Cell and become renowned as Heroes of the Revolution

Tempted , anyone recommend it?

I was a big fan of the first one. This one is a perfectly competent shooter, it's not a corridor shooter, more a cross between CoD and the Division. But it's shonky in places. And really makes things hard to be stealthy. I gave up on the second area. I may go back to it, but when there's so many good games out there at the moment, I find it hard to justify going back to it, even if I only paid a tenner.

The second area is technically the most difficult part of the game. I died a lot there too until I managed to capture all the strike points. I am now on the fourth area which is similar to the second one with the difference that I've got all the guns unlocked and have better perks so it is much easier to get past.

To anyone looking to buy, it defo worth the price. It is not a high-end game for the graphics and gameplay. In no way it is similar to Far cry or even division! It may be alike CoD but not any of the current gens ones, more alike the PS2/PS3 versions of CoD. I am defo enjoying the game and it has been fixed in all aspects and have not experienced any bugs so far.

It's actually not a bad game once all the bugs are patched, gameplay improved. They've released it waay too early with loads of bugs and frame rate issues

same price at Argos for the standard version

I'd wait till it's about a fiver given the quality of this game. Sure the patches addressed many of the launch issues but it's merely a band-aid on an otherwise poor game from a studio that have had a lot of turmoil in the past couple of years.
