Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force. A living, breathing, open world responds to your actions - you and your Resistance Cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and turn Occupation into Revolution, as oppressed civilians take up the fight. But your enemy has the advantage - superior technology, firepower, heavy armour and air support. You must learn the art of guerrilla warfare - ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception - and fight a running battle through the war-ravaged suburbs of Philadelphia.

nice price, but suppose to be a shocker of a game
Homefront has bombed in price very quickly, meant to be a crap game but heat added as its the cheapest yet
heat for Mario but home front will be £20 in no time and even at that price you will be wasting your money
Same here, heat for Mario but best to hold off with Homefront. This game is a fail!
Cheers op. Was waitin for sub £30.

i really would wait for sub £20 its really supposed to be that bad, i would say with the dreadful reviews and how the price is dropping so quickly already it will be that price in a couple of weeks

Wow... already £25 :O It seems to have bad ratings, but I will still probably buy when its £15 or less :P
Homefront constantly freezes up and is unplayable, would not buy even for £5.

If it's like the beta then yeah it's terrible sadly, had high hopes for it as the concept was something I enjoy.

Homefront is actually meant to be good. The problem is the performance of the game is godawful. Hitting 0 (ZERO) frames per second whenever the game autosaves (which is all the time). The rest of the time, it is always under 30FPS. Can never hit a steady 30.

Such terrible performance will of course create equally poor word of mouth, and so the game is bombing. Hard.

Best part about it is that you get to play timesplitters 2.
Played homefront and yes it is as bad as what people say, l feel lucky that I rented it.
It's not nearly as bad as the reviews make out.
Playable at least.
Just don't expect a CoD level of polish.
The deal on Mario Bros is a perfect companion to my deal on all other Wii U Selects titles!
will a future update solve the issues with homefront? if so, it might be worth this price
Nice price I'll pick it up for that price

No one knows a future update might but it could be one of those games that never gets fixed, it's strange because it's not one platform that has a problem it's all of them, so it's basically up to the devloper if they can be bothered to fix it

Apparently it won't. Its had a disastrous development cycle and the problems with the game are too deeply ingrained for a patch to fix.

It's a shame because I really liked the concept.

Same here it had an interesting concept but as you said the bugs and problems are to numerous and deep seated that it really don't think they can fix it with patches
I almost preordered Homefront so glad I didnt with whats been said about it, shame, really enjoyed the first and one of the few to own platinum!! shame they went bust!!
£14.59 for Mario from base/rakuten with current code + points worth 80p

Are you a robot?
Homefront is currently a contender for worst game of the year and it might just win it unless something goes horribly wrong pre-Christmas.

Are you a robot?

???
Played the beta... omg... it was like playing call of duty on a gameboy colour. Not worth time installing yet alone £25

???

I saw you're just leaving price comparison comments so I thought maybe you're a robot mate.

Dambuster have already announced they are working on fixes.
1st on the list for them is the autosave freeze (which for me is the only really bad issue)

Those are technical issues. In my opinion the games issues go beyond that.

Definitely not... just showing cheaper option to help others.
PS. I'm not a game market expert(just occasional player), so not going into futher discussion apart from price

Doesn't stop the rest of us going into "discussion" HOT deal OP... ironically this deal sums the various consoles up in a nutshell. One game projects the colourful family friendliness of a certain console, while the other projects the 18-rated shooter-fest violence orientated entertainment that is the brunt of a couple of consoles.

OK we get it from your million and one posts you don't like the ps4 or Xbox one or the games on it!

But at least you aren't rating about the 2ds yet

I played the beta and was shocked how bad it was!!! I like the idea of it but from what i have seen of it they can keep it

Your inferring something that isn't there. Its an observation on how the different games for the various consoles reflect what they do and the markets they serve. Simple as that. 2DS was not referenced, as its not included in the deal post, am staying on topic so no comment on 2DS.
£25 already shock lol Homefront will be below £20 in next week or so.
Just bought it ..thanks guys
good price on homefront but still not biting until it has been patched to sort the majority of issues out. I'm so sick of games releasing that are maybe not broken but on the way there.
The last homefront on the 360 was buggy as hell. Things haven't changed then
Only the PS4 version of Homefront :The Revolution is £24.95 at the Game Collection - the Xbox One version is £36.95 and it's 'like New'...
