Dont have proof but i saw it scanned for £4.
Was in tesco oldham looking for fight night champion but when i took it to the till they found out its a misprice and refused to sell. it went back to the games section and saw the manager scanning all games looking for errors. I saw him scanning the Homefront xboc copy for £4. I followed him to the till to get it from him but no luck.

DAM! thanks for the info Ace

Sorry but this is complete & utter BS!

At 5pm today, I took my little brother to Tesco after I got home from work. He grabbed Crysis 2. He was after Dead Space 2 & Homefront, so we took them both to the checkout & asked the lady to scan them. Crysis 2 came up at £10.10 & the other 2 were both £25.

On top of that, your story is 'suspect' to say the least. When you get to the checkout, the operators or the self-service checkouts don't know jack about pricing mistakes. Even if they did & refused to sell it to you, why the heck would they simply put it straight back to the gaming shelf for someone else to take to another checkout.

On top of that, even if the manager took it upon themselves personally to scan the games. How would you know what price it went for unless you were 6 inches away from their face when it was scanned. As well as standing there following along the aisle while they scanned all the games until they got to Homefront.

No proof & silly story = Freezing Cold!

I Have to say I agree with you mastin. The other 'deals' we're due to existing discounts being doubled by mistake when scanned. Homefront is priced at £25, with no reductions - just a bog standard price, so no discount to double/triple etc - so no reason for it to scan at £4.

Plus, the story is VERY hard to believe

To be honest i dont give a **** u wana believe it or not. This site it for all citizens to take advantage of good bargains.

first of all i took the games to the entertainment section till, when someone is working on the entertainment section for ages and dont know the price of the games they must be daft then.

when did i say they took the games back to the shelf. the cashier told the manager strait away. and up he went.

And yes i was standing behind him when he was scanning the games with his hand held scanner. bcz i asked him to scan need for speed.

Imsraj..... You really need to calm down. Your language is terrible. And on purpose, swearing is a split second reaction, typing 7 * instead if swearing takes meaning. Grow up. It's just a bogus deal. And tesco tills are nationwide. Homefront was £25 at the till. I took a basket of most top games to check. Fair enough you wanted praise, but really grow up.

I scanned all ps3 titles in a Belfast branch, only mistakes were Crysis 2, Fight night and Shift 2. If homefront was £4 I would have bought it. It wasn't lol

Fair enough m8 i cant really say anyfin bcz i got no proof. but if u think i do deals here to get high heat u mistaken. since i joined this site im getting bargain after bargain and i have saved a lot of money. all tnx to owners and of course the members of this site for taking their time to post deals.
I always hated those people who put bogus deals in here and to let u know im not one of them. of course if u believe me.

Scanned at £25 in Havant too.

Poster was just trying to ride on the coat tails of genuine deals and grab free heat.

Just a shame he chose a POS game for it then!

Homefront probably isn't worth too much more than 4 quid.
