was looking for some kind of boiler insurance as we are getting close to winter.

This one seems a no brainer. If you go via topcashback you get £84 back when taking out their homeserve cover 8 plan. This also entitles you to a £50 Argos voucher from homeserve directly. In effect, they are giving you £30 to take out their insurance for a year!!!

This is only a 1 year offer as price reverts to full after unless you cancel.also £50 excess if you do need to use them.

Plumbing and drains
Electrical wiring
Pest infestations
Security and roofing incidents
Internal gas supply pipe
Gas central heating breakdown

While cover includes many things, there are some exclusions. Please refer to the Policy Summary.

Apologies - this has already been posted with quidco cashback.

One of the most dodgy companies ever and i know quite a few people who have worked in the Fulwood call centre, they have been done for miss selling and are trained how to avoid any claims.

i have no doubt. even if you take out the policy, claim the cashback, get the voucher and then close the policy, you are still getting a "free" £30 even if you dont use them.

This is a company that actively avoids paying out for claims, good look with the cashback

I had the cover with the boiler service... that never happened either. The call center I phoned was the most unprofessional I'd ever spoke with, the 'lad' answering was asking me what the hold music was like... I wouldn't bother dealing with them.

Worst company ever - Caveat Emptor

home serve are in my opinion an awful company to deal with, had cover with my new home and had a couple of issues which they refused or were unable to deal with.

Bloodyell - if a the cover is effectively better than free (you earn £30 by taking it out), and this deal is still so cold, then this company must be really terrible - HDUK users won't even take money from them...

Guess what? Have not had the £50 Argos voucher and Quidco did not track. I filled in a form on Quidco to chase but the vendor requires an order no of the format WS-6584.
Guess what? There is no such number. Phoned Homeserve & they said they do not use order nos.
Quidco will chase it for me. They are a pleasure to deal with.

I've had a check on our systems and taken a look at the offer. If this was the promotional offer that ran throughout December, the vouchers aren't being distributed until 8 weeks after purchase.
