21mp camera at this price? Sounds good... Any reviews?!

Pixels got nothing to do with quality of pictures....
Decent sensor with 4mp results in much much better pictures....
21 MP is interpolated one....

Based on those reviews this seems amazing value for money as long as a decent camera isn't top of your list...

Can't agree; the first Galaxy Note, which was one of the devices the abhorrent term was coined for was 5.3" and 7" seems to pretty much be universally considered a tablet. The issue is that it's practically impossible to buy a normal sized phone, at the moment, unless you want a piece of crap. Personally, I use the rule of thumb that if you can easily operate it one handed, it's a phone; if you can't, but it fits in your pocket, it's a phablet; any bigger is a tablet.

Promises promises

In the era of "bezeless" the 5.5" can suddenly feel compact.
I've just got the Doogee Mix, 5.5" a few days ago , has the footprint of a 5" phone and is only 144mm long!
feels Uber compact. My LG Stylus 2 (5.5" display too) dwarfs it. Screen is 720p same as the LG , but incredibly more vivid and intense. I'd no idea amoled screens were this rich..Loving it so far..scared to break it though and currently looking for a rugged case to fit

It's not about size, it's about how you use it...

Looks like the same reviewer (different handle) - just an observation!
here is another review - with lots of lovely pictures:
gizmochina.com/201…et/

I was looking at the Redmi Note 4 at about £115 but this is very tempting!

OOS for £102.43, and £151.26 from the China warehouse..

Heh Hah, Heh Hah!

I remember this has no compass, no gyro.
Hope this helps someones decision making...

Hom Tom, what joker makes up these brand names?

Anyone know if this has NFC?

Very tempted if so.

Nice way to look at it, but people's fingers are different sizes.

I still love my old Lumia 1320 mainly because of the screen size, battery life and build quality.

I'd love it at 7" if I could. 'Cos I'm big!

No NFC

I am a happy owner of this phone. Since I bought it in Oct 2016 (for around £160), it has had 3-4 wireless updates.
The last one came out a couple of weeks ago, so support is there.
It has no NFC, no gyroscope and no OTA support.
It is as fast as you would expect the specs suggest.
Since I got it, the screen would occasionally freeze and I had to do a hard reset .. about once every 1 or 2 days.
But it has stopped freezing about 6 weeks ago, which I presume must’ve been caused by an app which has since been updated.
It works flawless now.
As for camera, under good lighting, it is as good as the specs suggest.
But under low light, its useless. Even with flash, its not much better unless its close up.
Battery can last a whole day with average use, but you can carry a spare one, as its replaceable.
But best of all .. if you take this phone to the USA, you can pick up 4g and 3g frequencies.
I inserted a USA T-mobile sim in NYC and I must’ve been on 4g for 90% of the time in the city.
Crap in Manchester though .. on 3, and usually no better than 3g.

Hope this helps people make up their mind to buy or not.
