8k a year, I'll be paying 6p a mile after a couple of months. Should get cold in here

8k would be fine for myself.
Would you have to take out insurance for any damages / scratches etc?
I could be tempted with this, shame it's about 4 months early!

Hi no!- lease deals have a fair usage wear and tair policy. Just look after it as if it was yours and you'll be fine.

I can't believe anyone can get through 8000 miles in 2 months!

That just means this deal isn't for you. If you are doing 8K miles in 2 months I would suggest that most lease deal will not suit you. It does not however, mean that this deal is cold.

Only if people vote based on if this is a good deal for you or not... and that would be weird?

£3383.41 for two years motoring in this car seems a great deal to me.

Bought a civic tourer last month, very pleased. These magic seats are very handy, they fold down flat completely and fold up too so we can have stuff secure in the boot unseen and the dog does behind our seat.

If you do 8,000 miles in a couple of months then lease cars will never work for you my friend. Based on the FACTS of this particular deal then it is clearly hot.

If you do moon miles every year wtf are you doing looking at a lease deal?

New Civic out in a few months so hopefully see a lot more of these deals shortly.

Anyone complaining about the mileage is confused - Not everyone drives the same miles as you.

If you are a 48K mile a year driver ((8K/2) x 12), you are hardly typical and way above average. You must realise this? So why do you not think that someone else would think this is a pretty good deal?

Not a deal for you then. Doesn't stop it from being a good deal for someone else. In which case, your comment with dumb and doesn't add anything.

Still available through contract hire and leasing

its no cactus...but thats a prickly issue on here

Deal is still there, I just clicked now and took me to page.
This is a cracking deal for a cracking car. Hot from me.

Looks like it's expired... The only one I can see available now is £840 deposit + 23x £140 inc vat.

Original Poster

Looks like they've adjusted the price now showing £140pm -cheaper deal still on via contract hire and leasing though.

Totally misleading, this is £840.02 deposit and £140/month.

I clicked earlier and it was the deal as posted by the op. But, yep, it's changed now.
Pants - saved the deal to review later after work too...

Same deal, it was clearly just mis-sold here - it's illegal to promote personal leases without the VAT, which accounts for the difference.

Honda - what you playing at? In current guise, the Civic doesn't look at all dated. In-fact, it looks better than many of its' rivals.

Milk it for a few more years!

Funny how it's gone cold X)

No one buys them as everyone wants a second rate German turd and its aslo reached the end of its 5 year life cycle. The new Civic is going to be the business though, Honda back to its true best.
