Deal of the Day, £7 delivered with Prime or plus £4.75 delivery for those without, if my reading of Amazon's delivery pricing is correct. Maximum purchase seems to be two per Amazon account.

3-year warranty, metal blades, sturdy construction, 143 reviews, average 4 stars, some complaints about noise, others not aware of it. For the price I'm happy to take a chance on it given that summer appears to be arriving at last.

Product blurb: The Honeywell HT-216E Chrome Oscillating Fan is a compact and quality table fan suitable for office or home with full metal blades for a pleasant and powerful cooling sensation. The oscillating function allows air to be directed into various spaces in the room, and the wide swivel range of 85 degrees produces far reaching air flow suitable for those hot stuffy rooms. Three speed/power settings mean you can control the air movement at your desired level and the compact fan is suitable for the summer months or to provide air circulation all year round.

Bargain. 2 ordered.
Would it be wrong to add heat to this post? Cause I assume it'll just be all blown away by this fan...

I think it's more likely that it was just a great deal - seven quid isn't much to most people for a decent item that should last for ages. Also, it was limited to two per account, so a maximum of ten if someone has five accounts on Prime, which is more trouble than most would go to. To order them without Prime would add a fiver to the cost too. To put these on ebay you'd need to add quite a bit to make anything worthwhile on them, especially if you want to cover the likelihood of being ripped off by potentially dishonest buyers.

They were selling them for less than £10 including delivery! After ebay/Paypal fees and postage, they will be making a loss.

That's a lot of effort for a couple quids gain. Hardly worth it.

Shhhh
Came here for the cool jokes. Was blow a way by the lack of gust-o was was blown into the comments.
Honeywell fans are top quality!
Well, they seem quite decent, especially for £7, though of the fans I bought one of them came with two back grilles rather one front and one back and another needed the the base to be taken apart and the two plastic pieces realigned by 90 degrees to align the screw holes.

I don't suppose anyone received two front grilles did they? Still, a chance to check out the warranty service...
Showing as back in stock from the 14th - for £39.99...
